Actually YES he did in the MOVIE, because that is how the scrip was written. BUT, while filmming "Game of Death" Bruce and Chuck wanted to see just how good the other was so they actually sparred and traded blows until they decided that they were to EVENLY matched!! It's well documented in the film "The Dragon and the Cobra".

Nah...that's a story chuck norris told AFTER bruce was dead and couldn't corroborate it. Bruce stated several times that he fought a lot of extras and stuntmen that challenged him on the sets of his various movies but NEVER made any statement that he sparred with chuck norris and it ended in a draw.
I am a martial artist with 10+ years in kung fu as well as sparring and vast street-fighting experience. It is quite apparent that chuck is not on bruce's level in terms of speed, agility or timing. Chuck was a big fish in a small pond of mediocre talent as far as his point fighting and full-contact ring record were concerned. There just weren't that many talented athletes doing karate at that time.

I HIGHLY doubt that Chuck is evenly matched with Bruce Lee.
