@krauser99: Without the use of gadgets and just pure H2H, has he done anything that puts him above Danny beating Sabretooth two times pretty much blindfolded in both encounters?
I believe that was before sabretooth was established with powers. Spider-man also defeated sabretooth by webbing his face which caused him to scratch the webbing off and sent sabretooth to the hospital in the process during the same era. He was a bit of a joke in that time period.
At that time, Sabertooth lacked a healing factor. However, when they fought, Danny was not only blind, but severely weakened. He was at a complete loss during that fight. He has actually beaten Sabertooth 3 times, and the final (once again danny was depowered and off his game) was in an era when Sabertooth wasn't lowballed or taken as a joke.
Cool thanks. I've been trying to find those scans for awhile. What issue was it and how was Danny weakened there?
@slimj87d: I have been organizing myself as of late. I deleted the issue and kept the fight. Sorry about that, but i can't remember which issue it was. IIRC, Danny was "off his game" because he felt as if he couldn't fight the the same combative edge that he always has, he had recently taken a loss to a laughable opponent. He was weakened in terms of limited chi usage and fighting non-stop.
Impressive but this feat is nothing that has superiority, of characters that I've seen for Daredevil, Batman, Nightwing or even Cassandra Cain herself.
That is ridiculous. I consider myself quite an expert on all of those characters, and i can say honestly that Cassandra Cain is the only one of that lot that you have listed that comes close to having micro-second reaction time. I can go feat-for-feat all day, i guarantee you i can prove that Danny is exponentially faster.
The fact is he caught that bullet and it shows chi being utilized.
If you can prove that he uses chi to augment his speed in order to catch a bullet, be my guest. Before you do, consider this.
- fact: Danny can use chi to make his fist into "a thing of iron"
- fact: Catching a sniper round using a downward swiping motion would rip apart a normal human beings hand
- fact: Danny has the speed to catch a bullet, without any chi amplification, it is through pure martial training
- fact (unless you can prove me wrong): There is no evidence that Danny has used chi to amplify his speed, even after his training with Orson
Iron Fist wins in my honest opinion. He has done things like blitz people before the bullet could even leave the gun and has even staggered War Machine with like a kick...
People might say he was chi amped, but I doubt it, given that he usually has an aura around him when he uses it.
I kinda is he drains his foes chi energy and as batman is a martial artist he uses it whether he wants to or not. this will tier batman out causing this fight to become and iron fist curb stomp. batman is good but wolverine, iron fist and captain America out do him.
this is a VERY tough battle to call, and would probably last for a long time, but I give the majority to Batman (slightly). Iron Fist has done some pretty incredible things over the years, but Batman is not only a master of all martial arts, he's a lot smarter than Danny is. His tactical mind combined with his skill and higher physicals would help him figure out a way to win. I'd give this to Batman, maybe at a 6/10.
Love both of these characters... Read both of them. Who wins H2H? Come on man Iron Fist takes this... Now in a battle of anything at their disposal Batman would find a way to win. But not H2H.. Nope, nope, nope... And I don't even think the fight goes more then a few minutes...
Iron Fist takes this.
After gaining all the knowledge of the previous Iron Fists from the Book of the Iron Fist Rand is crazy good at H2H combat.
There is a battle in which Iron Fist is able to take down Wolverine, Colossus, and Nightcrawler without his Chi, and that was before he had the Book of the Iron Fist. Of course it's an older showing and probably isn't as relevant now a days but I figured it was worth mentioning.
Not that this is predictable at all, but I say Batman takes it due to about equal fighting skill if not better, better physicals without chi, and a superior tactical mind.
That has never really played a part in pure H2H combat to be frank.
@wolverine08: Beg to differ.
Predicting movement, knowing and executing weak points, and planning ahead while being attacked all involve tactics during H2H.
Those are things all master martial artist like Iron Fist are trained to do.
Iron Fist wins this. Mastery of earth martial arts, Kun Lun martial arts ( which Batgod has no counter for) and mystical arts= wins
My understanding is that no mystical arts are allowed. This is purely H2H according to the OP.
EDIT: And neither has Iron Fist ever experienced Bat-fu. (lol)
That makes a little more sense. However, WaveMotion had said simply "mystical arts." (i.e. magic, divination, sorcery, etc, are typically what is meant by this).
omg batfans really, batman vs iron fist come on batman exploits the weekness of his foe danny has no weakness noteable, his will is superior his fighting styles are superior. yeah batman knows 127ish martial arts but danny know ancient arts future arts creates his on for fun, he doesn't need chi to kill batman, that's the other thing batman wont kill there for he will have to pull punches, iron fist will kill and wont hold back every move and attack is designed to kill a super human in one hit, his speed and agility matches spiderman and daredevil, his skill tops captain Americas, his tactic and intellect on combat out match anything in the marvel universe, this guys is seriously under estimate even with prep batman looses, because if bats get prep if get chi and this gives him super human everything including senses batmans stealth is out of the question it wont work, and as for hand to hand yeah batman might have a fancy bullet proof suit (with prep) but that iron fist cant dent or even break caps shield (adamantium and vibranium).... iron fist cannot loose unless he was suffering from the flu
