Round 1 Speed
Round 2 Durability
Round 3 Intelligence
Who wins
Galaxy s5
@aatroxx: I feel you completely I went from and iPhone 5 to and Galaxy s4 never went back, but now I have the S5
Note 4 stomps
Tho this phone clearly isn't on the choices but yeah... I agree with this.
Note 4 stomps
Just from the problems my boss has with getting his iPhone to talk to the rest of his Windows based systems; anything Samsung. The iPhone's look brilliant and work fine while on their own, but for practicality and functionality, you are better off with other products, wich are most likely cheaper as well.
Each is very nice, so is the Note 4. It's weird though because Iphone 6 & Note 4 are doing well in sales, while Forbes reports the Galaxy S5 is flopping.

Is bigger better? It is the topic which has consumed almost every major phone review over the last year. The size jump controversy not only encompassed the Android world, notably the controversial Nexus 6 (a big, brilliant mistake), but even Apple has been embroiled with the enlarged iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus (where bigger really is better).
Of course none of this is new to Samsung. The South Korean giant has been running its Galaxy S and Galaxy Note ranges in parallel for some time. But an interesting evolution is under way: Note sales are catching Galaxy S sales. In particular the Galaxy S5 has been a relative sales flop while the Note 4 has continued to flourish and now there is a new supercharged version.
That said both phones’ sales remain head and shoulders above the Android competition. So the question remains: which is better? Let’s break it down:
Problem for the tech market is these phones are so good and now that they are being made to be a lot larger, it's hurting the tablet market.
Both are awesome but I find the Iphone 6 inferior to the Iphone 5s because it bends and it's just too big and the S5 is overall superior so yep, Galaxy S5 takes this.
@classicrainbow: This is a battle, So close your mouth please.
The Note 4 is the most versitile of them all, since is has an Active Digitizer. This, combined with it's large screen size is ideal for students that want to take notes and draw with their phone.
One thing I have always liked about Samsung phones is their screen's color contrasts. However, I really dislike Touchwiz (the framework they layer on top of stock Android). It lags and it is disorganized. When it comes to Android my favorite is the Nexus line.
However, I am going to give my vote to the iPhone 6. IMHO, iOS is very smooth, streamlined and simple. I do appreciate the detail put into the UI. Nothing seems out of place and everything is extremely familiar.
With that being said, I have an: iPhone 5, Nexus 7 tablet, and Asus Vivotab Note 8 (Windows 8 tablet).
1. Speed--iPhone 6
2. Duribility--S5 (the 6+ has that bending problem)
3. Intelligence--tie (while iOS is very streamlined. I do enjoy the customizability of Android.)
Bat-Phone with prep.
iPhone 5 Stomps both.
God made the universe, everything else was made in China. So China wins by default.
I'm a Android user, but I can't deny the iPhone 6 does look pretty and the OS is quickly catching up to Android.
Although I'll always remain Android since I like to root and flash various different kinds of ROMs, I can't deny that as of lately google has slowed down in innovation.
But what more can our phones do for us? It will get to the point iPhone and Android will have similar if not the same features to one another. The freedom to root and modify my phone will always keep me on Android.
@allstarsuperman: Sadly true.
With a 2.5 gigahertz quad core processor, S5 is certainly faster. Not that this topic matter so much since Samsung's smart phone sales are far greater than Apple's and better customer satisfaction. If I ever want an app from the App Store, I just use my iPad
@allstarsuperman: @batking200: Time to think outside the battle box, This really is a battle tho, just like if I made an Aluminum vs Mercury thread it's still a battle.
@superdrummer: LMAO, At least it won't crank on first drop.
@dajhonmccloud: Exactly. It wins round one by people throwing it via frustration, round two via not breaking, and round three once you realize phones text and make phone calls, and everything else is tablet territory.
@classicrainbow: This is a battle, So close your mouth please.
Someone is wishing.
