Powers and abilities

Immortus has no superhuman powers, but he possesses a genius intellect, and has advanced and extensive knowledge of travel through and manipulation of time. It is known that he was tutored by the Time-Keepers.

Immortus also uses a wide variety of instrumentation for manipulation of and travel through time, most of which he designed.

Seriously? Ultron is gonna tear him apart from the inside WAY to easily.

Immortus eats him alive. Immortus is to Kang what Superman Prime is to Post Crisis Superman. He is the alpha deluxe, super team busting, transcendent tier version of Kang. He is the custodian of all time. He has access to every era in human history, every weapon in human history, every piece of technology in human history. Immortus has manipulated beings as powerful as Mephisto.

The Annihilators considered themselves "Hopelessly outmatched" when they fought Immortus, including the Silver Surfer.

The only way Ultron could possibly win this is a punch fight. Anything involving Standard equipment, and Immortus can do what he will with him. He can use his tech to revert him to a scrap of metal, he can send indestructible beings composed out of pure time, like his champion Temperus after him. He can have one of his Space Phantoms Replace Ultron, banishing him to limbo. He can BFR him to any era, and has BFRed characters with a snap of his fingers in several issues, making it a real ability, not hypothetical.

His biggest issue seems to be vulnerability, as he doesn't wear any armor. Immortus is a custodian and a scholar, not a warrior. This was done because the character is simply too powerful to be in one one fights with standard superheroes.

Keep in mind the ability to call an army like this isn't a massive prep feat, it's not an abnormal showing. Immortus' tech grants him COMPLETE mastery over time.

Since this thread was created, I've read every Avengers issue, including John Byrne's West Coast Avengers. Where Immortus is shown to be able to wipe out timelines without an amp.

Bloodlusted Immortus not only snaps away Ultron, but every version of Ultron ever, with the wave of his hand.

Ultron beat every attempt Kang threw at him. Ultron would win.

Immortus can and has deleted timelines with a snap of his fingers. Those timelines include not only Ultron, but Celestials, Galactus, Eternity, and a Phoenix force. Ultron would get wrecked.

Immortus didn't even beat Kang in the Destiny War. He would loose just as Kang did.

There's context to that, lol.

OT: Immortus wipes Ultron out.

Specifically, Kang was the final iteration of the character, having wiped out all other versions. Meaning Immortus had to keep Kang alive to one day become him.

There are relatively few Avengers villains a pissed off Immortus couldn't solo.
