Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet vs Superman with the Cosmic Armor
1 vs 1
CIS and PIS are off, both are bloodlusted
The Infinity Gauntlet  and Cosmic Armor are completely functional in this battle

Who takes it?

The cosmic armor will adapt to whatever the IG throws at it. I think it's closer to HOTU in power, imo.

So Superman should beat Thanos.

The Thought Robot exists outside of reality as we know it as we know it  and the thing isn't even made of matter its made of ideas. These qualities make leave it mostly untouchable by the IG.  As well as the instant adaptation too.

Of course Thanos wins.

This is the IG PEOPLE!
As Powerful as Armour was, Supes is still not taking Thanos!

Cosmic Armor made everything 3d, thus looking trippier. Acid Trip FTW

Cause I am very wise! ;)  lol

what is CA Supes going to do to Thanos exactly?!

That armour is going to be destroyed by Thanos.
& he can ALWAYS SoulRip Supes ANYTIME he wants when he gets bored...

The realm that Superman was in when he was in the Cosmic Armor was beyond the Multiverse, it was beyond space and time. Superman may not even notice Thanos' pathetic attempts to attack him.

Mandrakk was doing just fine with energy projection, the heat of 52 trillion suns!  Or was it billions? or millions? He was shooting the heat of 52 something stars at him.
"Mandrakk, you know there is alot more than just 52 trillion stars in the universe, much less the entire DC multi verse?"
"QUIET YOU!"

IG, because the cosmic armor DOESN'T EXIST! Why can't you people get that???

@AtPhantom: they're not arguing the legitamacy of something, they're comparing sheer power and abilities

I don't care. They need to stop calling it Cosmic Armor because it's not called cosmic armor, and it's not armor in any sense of the word.
#13 Posted by drkcloud (328 posts) - - Show Bio
@AtPhantom: its a non-issue -_-, besides it IS an armor in a sense, iron-man has something like it, heck it was even sentient

It;s not an armor, it's a robot.
#15 Posted by drkcloud (328 posts) - - Show Bio
@AtPhantom: yea but it was still called an armor. its also refered as an armor by most fans (talking about iron-man's)

I'm talking about the thought robot which Superman's consciousness inhabited to battle Mandrakk. It has absolutely no relation to the definition of the word armor.
#17 Posted by drkcloud (328 posts) - - Show Bio
@AtPhantom: which part, the fact that it was a robot or that it came from Ultraman and superman's thoughts?

if it was robot, like i said Iron man ALSO had a sentient robot that he sometimes operated remotely, it was still called an armor, and i think its creation is a non-issue.

i understand that you're thinking that a robot is by no means an "armor" in the conventional sense, but comic book sense i could see how thats the case

Iron Man's robots are designed to be armor, their function as robots is secondary. This is not the case here. The line is quite clear if you think about it.

Not to mention  it was called a freaking thought robot.
#19 Edited by drkcloud (328 posts) - - Show Bio
@AtPhantom: nnono, leme try to remember which armor it was, its suppose to function purely through remote control since Tony was injured and couldn't go on active duty. Its the one that ultron gave sentience to.

besides "cosmic thought robot" doesn't have that finese in the name =X....thats right when it comes down to it, its the naming sense!

You mean Tony's first freaking armor? Yeah, totally robotic.

Thanos w/ig takes this, and without too much effort in the end!
#22 Posted by drkcloud (328 posts) - - Show Bio
@AtPhantom: nono, ill get back to you on that, actually nvm it was litereally called sentient armor, but from what i can tell it was capable of being used by people as an armor, so i guess your right then. then again Cosmic thought robot still sounds silly

probably Thanos... I never actually read that Superman or Thought Robot arc though... it hurts my eyes to even look at scans of it... lmao

You guys really don't understand the infinity gauntlet enough to make a good judgement, but I'll enlighten you.

#29 Posted by AtPhantom (14467 posts) - - Show Bio

None of this means anything. The thought robot was designed to fight someone beyond any universal power.

I say IG >> Thought Robot.

the thought robot is something rom another universe and time. can't the ig only affect things from it's own universe?

Yes, but it doesn't apply to this forum.  Both items are automatically assumed to be in a neutral universe where they both function fully since the OP did not say otherwise.

Many fans refer to it as the cosmic armor so it's fine for TC to write as such.

No need to be nitpicky.

Why is IG over-rated?

Cosmic Armor has one feat and thats about it. You really think it has done enough to warrent a win over IG? Yet there are people saying IG would lose.

IF anything its under rated at least in this site, or people are far over rating the Cosmic Armor.

@Killemall: Really? Even though Thought Robot's Feats are limited it proved it as an above Multiversal Level and IG is Universal. Anything that has Multiversal feats can beat the IG.

Agreed. Cosmic Armour is near featless. IG has solid Feats that win. Hell Mandrax beaten could easily been replicated by IG.

IG wins due to real feats.

Not true at all. Where are you getting that 616 IG is universal?

1. Infinity Wars, Magus with IG (incomplete IG) was put against ultimate nullifier ( a weapon which was destroyed and recreated multiverse) and Magus was simply able to turn a blast from Ultimate Nullifier back on the user (Quasar)

2. During Infinity War, Magus with IG (incomplete IG) merged 2 universes.

3. During Infinity Gauntlet saga Thanos with IG beat all abstracts with a mere whim, and you know Eternity for one has multiversal feats too.

People saying IG is universal have not read enough on IG.

Also Though Robot being multiversal comes from ABC logic. A featless character called Mandraxx was a threat to a multiverse, and though robot beat him, thats about all it has ever done.

@Killemall: Because Every Universe has an IG.

That by itself doesnt make it universal power level. Also the recent (3 months ago) Hickman's run of Fantastic Four, War of Four Cities clearly showed 616 IG is far more powerful than any other IG anyways.
