In a gladiator type battle who can actually beat superman?

Supes is arguabably the most unbeatable character in a gladiator sytyle battle. Batman is the only one who can beat him because he is always carrying kryptonite. Otherwise... good luck.

How big do you want the list? 20? 50? 100? I could go up to several thousand characters who could beat Superman in fiction, and I could do several hundreds in DC.

Funny you mention Gladiator...cause Kallark should be added to the list of those who can beat Superman.

gladiator style means they are thrown into battle without any preparation or not knowing who you are going to fight. And I take back only Batman because Firestorm has a grounds for winning.
