Impulse (YJ) vs Quicksilver (DoFP)

IIRC Impulse's best feat was perceiving that energy distortion.

Probably Peter, loved both these characters.

Impulse wins. He has been stated to be "almost lightspeed", can vibrate his molcloues and can create F-3 tornadoes almost instantly by running. In addtion, he actually has combat showings. As awsome as Peter was, there are not enough showings for him to make a strong case. He had what, 2 minutes?

I'm leaning towards Impulse, based on his versatility and combat experience, but what is his best straight up speed feat? Is he actually as fast as Quicksilver?

Nice to see some different ideas

I think they're roughly comparable, Impulse might be slightly faster at his top speeds but he's not consistently at those speeds

@gxrevolution96: Nightwing and Artemis were both able to take down Impulse, I don't see thme being able to do that to Quicksilver.

Keeping up with Flash who was stated to be lightspeed. He also ran from Taos to the north pole in 1 second.

There is context. Nightwing blindsided him on that occasion and Artemis shot a net at him from behind after he bounced off Tommy T's chest, so he could not have avoided it. It is irrelevent since he simply vibrated out of it.

They could do the same to Quicksilver under those circumstances.

Well he was matching the speed of Barry Allen who was proably running at mach 7

Barry's already been stated to run a light speeds.

It sounds like Impulse is faster than Quicksilver, and he's had more actual combat experience. I'm definitely going with Impulse, but i'm sure it'd be a good fight.
