those biblical references are to say the Universe being created in God's image, and then of course the statement of The Universe is very explicit (which confirms it).
Which confirms that an older universe was destroyed, not what Imperix himself destroyed.
The rest is Imperix talking about an eventual end of a universe and his intent to somehow cause the end of the universe.
At no point does he himself destroy anything, other than a planet in the said story.
And evidently a galaxy in one the tie ins.
