i_like_swords Street Level Tourney - Round 1 - The Battle

The Battle.

Alright, get ready for Round 1. Here we establish what teams are the most able to adapt and overcome.

Please avoid commenting on the battle or either persons team until debating ends, as it may affect the outcome of the battle.

Location:

Setting:

- The fight will take place inside the New York Museum of Natural History

- Teams will both start on the second floor in separate sections of the museum. From there they have access to a stairway down to the first floor. Alternatively they can enter the main hall, which can be looked down upon from the second floor and has a large central staircase leading up to the second floor.

- The battle will take place 20 minutes before sunrise.

-During the first 20 minutes of the battle the fire alarm will be activated, meaning sprinklers will have covered every area of the museum (apart from the main hall) in water and will continue to do so for 20 minutes.

- For 5 minutes at the start the fire alarm itself will be going off, which is moderately loud, making it a bit more difficult to communicate with your team. The alarm won't be nearly as loud in the main hall.

-The lights will be out for the first 20 minutes, so it won't be total darkness, but a normal human won't be able to see clearly.

- After the first 20 minutes are up the sprinklers will stop, and the sun will rise. The lights in the museum will come back on.

- However, in a freak twist of events, a blizzard has invaded New York, and the glass roof above the main hall is smashed in and snow is landing everywhere. Snow will be present in the main wall 4 inches deep, 3 inches deep everywhere on the first floor, and 1 inch deep on the second floor. Aside from that, expect what you would normally get in a museum of history.

The_Legendary_Super_Saiyan_Hulk - Hercule, Zonge, Iron Man Falgore, Dengakuman

VS

Sovereign91001 - Blade, Punisher 2099, Batman Beyond, Batwoman

• No prep will be available for this match
• Your teams neutrally start in their own sections of the museum
• They will all be in character
• This fight is to KO/Death depending on each character
• You may not leave the museum
• Characters who know each other have all knowledge of each other, as well as their disposition towards them
• Characters know the names of who they are fighting before the fight starts. They do not know where they are. They just know they need to defeat them.
• The winner may claim two items of gear from his opponents character. No armor.

And with that, you may begin. I will alert the judges as to when voting starts.

@i_like_swords: What's funny? You saying my team is incompetent? I'll have you know Mr. Satan is the World's Martial Arts champion! He's saved the world from Cell, beaten Android 18 in a fight, saved the Z-Fighters from Bojack, and also came out the winner against Goku, Luffy, and Toriko!

Okay first I'll have Terry fly over head and release a stream of Tear gas and drop flashbang pellets.

While your team is disoriented and off balance Jake will toss a grenazer into the cloud of gas

That should take out your guys anyone left Blade and Punisher will open fire on them with their guns.

Kate will hang back and provide support as necessary and Terry can jump into the fray and assist also.

@sovereign91001: I don't think my team is going down that easy.

For starters: Mr. Satan! He has good Strength, durability and speed.

In the beginning of this, he moves a bus with his strength alone.

Here he is taking a hit from Cell into a small mountain, he's not really harmed:(2:25)

Here he is out running the explosion from a rocket-launcher, he then goes to beat the bandits up:

I also don't think the tear gas will work on Zonge, as we was unaffected by the Dodurian Bomb, which was noticed Worldwide and affected everyone except him.

He also has killed 2 Giant Millepedes:

Also, his flatulence is also shown to be very potent, causing a Surprise Apple to become a capture level of 80(Something not even Toriko could do). This is possibly lethal.

@the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: I think that first durability showing for Satan might be over the limit, I dunno it's kinda hard to judge with a gag character, I'll ask @i_like_swords what his feeling is on it.

What is your team's resistance to the laser from the Grenazer? Even if the teargas doesn't work the flashbangs almost certainly will, I just need to get your team off balance and disoriented so they can't defend themselves properly.

Jake's revolver in the scans above is a .54 caliber magnum. So it's an extremely powerful handgun and barring any powerful armor (and given the power on that gun it's gonna need to be pretty good armor) on your team should be able to penetrate their defenses easily. In addition Blade is laying down fire with his sub machine guns so while your team is stumbling around choking and or blinded my guys should be putting them down with their firearms

@sovereign91001: I don't think its canon or at last isn't canon for this. There is no description of that kind of durability for him online and honestly it likely only happened as a gag in the show.

@i_like_swords: That's the point lol, he's a gag character! XD

Given that we start off in different sections of the museum, I don't see your teams plan being all that effective. Terry would have a lot of things to maneuver around just do to the gas, even though it will be somewhat ineffective. Then there's the grenazer, you won't be able to do that right off that bat. Our teams don't know where each other are, there's going to be an amount of searching done to find each other.

Also, @i_like_swords does Hercule get the bag he had when he went to fight Majin Buu?

@i_like_swords: You were joking? Yet you made the rule disallowing jokes, canceling your own joke.. but in the same time contradicting itself as a rule. The Paradox of Jokes!

Terry has inferred lenses in his batsuit, seeing your guys body heat, given the low temp shouldn't be a problem. I don't see a lot of maneuvering, if your team stays upstairs he flies at yours and drops gas. If they're downstairs he flies along that ceiling and drops gas. Breathing isn't a problem as all my team has rebreather's and Kate or Jake can lend one to Blade. I don't see how it'll be ineffective as we're in an enclosed space and when he was outside Terry had no trouble gassing an entire crowd.

@sovereign91001: Still don't see the gas being that effective. How does the grenazer work? What kind of damage is it?

@the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: Jake tosses it, it scans targets, locks onto them and fires a laser beam that tracks it's target, afterwards it can be retrieved, re-charged and thrown again. As for power there was never a specific voltage given on the laser or anything but it's powerful enough to punch a hole through a human body so I'd say fairly powerful.

@sovereign91001: The thing is it seemed like it was used on normal people from the scan you showed i:, which we all know have little to no durability at all lol.

Dengaku man also has durability as well, surviving a close of explosion and just shrugging it off and landing in a bed. (1:20)

Plus as all Bo-bobo characters, he has randomness + insanity going for him. He will utterly confuse your team with the things he does.

As anyone who watches the show, they also have a degree of toon force lol. No matter how badly they are injured, they always seem to come out of it unharmed at the end lol.

Then there's "Iron Man" Falgore, who always manages to get back up if people are chanting his song.

@the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: Well I'd say equalizing it with bullet penetration wouldn't be a stretch, would you, given that we see it punching holes in those mook's chest's similar to a high caliber round.

@sovereign91001: What if it were to hit something before it made connection? Would it just stop?

Also, @i_like_swords can Hercule have the equipment he brought along to kill Buu with?

@the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: If you moved before the scanning, I'd say it couldn't hit you if after it scanned you you leapt behind cover, it'd hit you (if you were in the six or so meters of range). If you had a shield or used a buddy as a meat shield or something you could probably deflect/avoid it.

@sovereign91001: The Dengakuman shield? It's just me using him as a shield lol. With the Bobobo universes natural toonforce-like qualities, it should work without Dengakuman being that injured.

@i_like_swords: @the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: I'm a bit confused how do these toonforce abilities scale?

@sovereign91001: If you look t the scan below the one of Dengakuman being turned into fireworks, you can see Bobobo, Jelly Jiggler and Don Patch being stabbed through their bodies with the scissor, only to come out perfectly fine a moment later.
