Illidan Stormrage vs. Thor

Illidan is pissed, as usual. After being locked up for like, freakin' ever, he decides that taking over Azeroth is just not a good idea anymore. Instead, he goes to Asgard -- only to find it protected by one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Thor.

- Standard equipment for both

- In character

- Illidan is, obviously, alive

- No Runes or Odinforce for Thor

- Battlefield: Asgard

Yes, but Twinks don't count. WoW twinks can solo all three main Marvel Pantheons together. As well as DC's Greek Ones.

I second this...or rather third.

Although Illidan has some really powerful magic, he also needs time to cast. Against someone as fast as Thor, he doesn't have time. He also wouldn't be able to take hits from Thor.

Illidan is more badass looking, but Thor wins.

That was through politics with Pit lords. Guy got decked by Arthas and Arthas hasn't have a chance with Thor.

Thor outclasses by far, He would either one shot him like stated above or just fly and use lighting and kill him. He may note even be able to react to Thor's hammer blows with a strong defense. Thor wins/

Illidan can fly, drain he's soul and when he will transform into a Demon form and he will slaugther thor with a shadow burst. Done.. Illidan is more bad-ass looking, faster and more powerful magic

@shawnbaby: You are kidding me?? Novone can kill Archimonde. he has destroyed cities with just a hit. He is like 10 meters tall and can kill him instantly. Most powerful of the erdar warlocks with Kil jaeden... I think he can even kill hulk and thor together without a problem.

Illidian was the final boss in WoW I killed - (cleared all content at the time)...I quit before the next raid came out

Archimonde destroyed a city. This much is True. Thor is a Planet Buster. His hits have staggered Celestials and Galactus.

Illidan couldn't even stand against a Pre-Lich King Arthas. He's got no chance against Thor.

@shawnbaby: You got an Scan on he destroyed an planet? The warglaives would cut Thor in half without a problem.

This is actually a fair battle so there is no stomp for Thor. But he would eventually win because he is to damn fast to be touched. But 1 strike from Illidan would weaken Thor /or kill him.

And that guy who said Thor can solo all the World of Warcraft characters. He would fail against Lich King and his army. Thor would be so tire out, at the end Arthas would Slaughter Thor.

i'm a big fan of both, especially illidan.. but thor takes this one easily, illidan's way more charismatic though. probably he's the coolest fictional character ever created, maybe along with fëanor.

If your using lore and it's illidan wth gul dans skull he has a big chance his power is limitless it is stated

Archimonde only died because thousands of wisps flied in his body to overload him, they are basically living energy like Galactus so it doesn't count man, and he didn't really die, he reborn later @moonchilde:

I cannot understand why some people say that illidan does not stand a chance against thor. Probably thor is just too powerfull for him but you cannot completely count illidan out.

Look, I'm a big fan of both Illidan and Thor, Illidan is my favorite character from War Craft, but Thor stomps Illidan effortlessly.

Illidan stalemaned Sargeras in legion expansion, who is a multiversal being that cleaves worlds in half, none of the asgard characters ever did anything remotely close to that, moreover with the twisting nether energies and reality manipulation illidan is even above god of stories loki
