If You're Tired of Superman vs Thor vs Hulk...Try This

A super villain of my own creation is coming to destroy your planet. You have been chosen to create a hero that can stop the unstoppable. You choose 6 powers from 6 different characters. But the characters have to be from different genres. Rules:

Your character is allowed only one power from the person you choose. State the person and power you choose. All stats not named are "peak Human"

Here are the categories you can choose from:

1 comic book character power

1 live action movie/TV character power(not comic based)

1 manga/ anime power

1 cartoon power (no looney toons or cartoon character that is mostly known for being a comic)

1 misc power from anywhere

1 misc power from anywhere. but not from same genre as other misc power

No BFR

1 death is a win

no one who can solo

No faster than light or time manipulation

No spell casters or TP

No intangible or invisible

No power mimicing or multiplying

Be unique. You can't use the exact same character/power of another poster

I love how people put be unique in the rules...then restrict the hell out of it

@Illuminatus: nope that's too easy of a win. time manupulation/magic casters are no fun.

@cattlebattle: if i came up with a team following those rules, i don't see why anyone else can't. there are 1000s of characters available in each genre.

How about reality warping? Matter/Energy manipulation?

BTW I really like this battle, have to think about it some more.

I'm not sure what that means. It's a one-on-one battle between our characters, so there's no such thing as solo'ing. How do you gauge if a power is too much to be allowed?

Okay how about Black Adam as my comic book power, live acton movie power is Forrest Gump (being at the right place, right time and somehow despite the ods comes away smelling like a rose, gets the girl and iz rich), anime I'm not too good with my anim stuff so I'll pick a guy from Fist of The North Star (it all I really know), cartoon power is Mighty Mouse, misc power #1 is Midnighter's fighting and misc power #2 is Barry Ween's brain-power. Howz that?

LOL... I dont think "Black Adam" is a "power".

Infinite strength, Speed faster than light, Intangability, Invisiblity, Flight, and combat knowledge.

Sure it is! Theo Adam says SHAZAM and boom he's gifted with all them powers, just like Captain Marvel says SHAZAM and he gets powers. Actually it is more of a power-set

I win why because your team can not destroy my team with Cell's regeneration you have to destroy my body compleatly to kill me and since I have SS durability a man who fights inside black holes and takes supernova not to mention Raiden teleportion and with Vegito one of the strongest Character in the DBZ verse Energy manipulation and Supes strength your character should be going down.

@dccomicsrule2011: i'm not trying to kill you, you have to stop me from destroying earth. and it doesn't sound like you have the speed to touch me. your dude can't even fly. You may survive but your planet won't.

@DrinkUrPruneJuice77: you can teleport but how would that help you stop me from destroying the earth. If we are in front of each other in California, and i fly off to Las Vegas. will you know where i am somehow? how can you stop me from destroying the earth if i fly away?

I stopped reading after first line, Juggernauts invulnerability, assuming classic juggernaut. with no BFR Pooty's team has no chance of winning =) Awesome!

@Killemall: Thanks. Had to change Road Runner to Sonic Hedgehog and Dr Fate for She-Ra's strength but I think I can take his monster :)

@Killemall: his job is to stop me from destroying the planet. juggs power isn't going to do that. and dr. fate isn't allowed. also i have Hancock durability which is on par with juggs. yep i said it.

All he has to do is grab your villian and give him a bear-hug. Good luck escaping that. Juggernaut's durability, assuming we are talking classic version, is leagues above Hancock. In his initial issue he was said to be invulnerable to physical attack regardless of the magnitude.

@Killemall: his dude can't even fly. so i doubt he can catch me. and has no super strength. so even if he did catch me Juggs durability is not the same as strength. and Hancock is said to be invulnerable to physical attack also. but his dude can't fly or have super strength so I can't kill him but he can't stop me from destroying his planet

his character can always wiggle his butt to your character to enrage him and while ur character attacks catch him in a full nelson. Hancock wont be able to do jack then :p

@pooty: Yeah I do I got She-Ra strength instead of Dr Fate. Being Sonic fast kinda breaks the laws of physics so flying schmying. John Preston's gun kata allows me not to get hit, testsuo's psionic powers can rip him apart or just pop your brain IN your durable skull and Black Bolt's scream can strip flesh off the Hulk down to the bone. So I think I got you and your monster :)

With the Rinnegan I can create an epicenter of gravity that pulls you towards anywhere I choose (the ground) its a technique called Chibaku Tensei. Then I could just whale on you with Validus strength or cut you with my swords.

I already saved the planet back on page 1. Yet I can see how the powers I picked then were excessive. So this time I will dial it down. I’ll save the planet without any miscellaneous powers. How you ask? Here’s how:

1. Cartoon – Clockwork (Danny Phantom) – Omniscience. Clockwork’s Omniscience lets him know Everything. From all that has, is, could and will happen. So this means I know when, where and how you will attack the planet. This gives me time to prepare. As such I can go to our meeting place well in advance.

2. Comic – Black Bolt (Marvel) – Anti-Gravitational manipulation. Arriving early I create an Anti-Gravitational field around myself (and as far out as Black Bolt’s powers allow, if I can engulf the entire planet so be it) now I’m immune to your gravity manipulation. Which will help throw you off guard when we meet.

3. Anime – Gogeta (DBZ) – Chi/Energy Manipulation. It’s a good thing I’m here early, cause about 16 episodes later I’m finally powered up. This is before you even arrive and with my Chi Powers at peak I can react faster than you, match your strength and blitz you.

4. Live Action – Arthur Petrelli (Heroes) – Power Absorption. Arthur has the ability to steal powers through physical contact. Seeing how I blitz and react faster than you, know the future and your every move before you make them, and immune to your gravity manipulation it's no problem to get to you and absorb your powers. This leaves a normal disgruntled human that I can easy kill = Planet Saved… a day in the life of a hero :)

Having the force is a single power that manifests in a variety of ways.

The force is the source of the powers, of which there are many. It's similar to a GL ring being the source of he GLs powers (flight, constructs, shield, etc), but the GL ring isnt in itself a power.
