Icon, God, Warrior, Eagle, Genius

This was inspired by Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy which is the name for a 1974 novel. 

Premise

Rules

• Marvel only.
• Your team must be an Avengers equivalent (examples are provided in brackets). You must have one Icon (Icon denotes an embodiment of charisma, such as Captain America), one God (Thor, but can also be a magic user such as Doom as there are a slight lack of gods), one Warrior (Warrior is your fearless fighter, such as Wolverine), one Eagle (Your long-ranged specialist, such as Hawkeye) and one Genius (The brains of the team, such as Iron Man). 
• State who your leader is. It can be any of the team.
  
• This is New Midgard, so you may choose villains in your Midgard Avengers.
• This isn't a tournament. Your goal is not to create the most powerful team, but just a fun way of mixing and matching some of your favourites into a line up you would love to see.
• Feel free to name your Avengers team, I like creative names.

Well. I believe that your guidlines were very clear and that others simply bent the rules to make the most powerful team they could. I attempted to stay within said guidelines and i believe i succeeded.

With that stated perhaps your changes will keep people from deviating from the rules.

@RainEffect: I would definitely start putting limits on certain things. Case in point, the Warrior class, some people use Wolverine and Mister X, some people choose Quasar, who would absolutely stomp the crap out of them, so I agree there should be limited classes, Warrior could be street-level, since the others like the God/Magic, Eagle, and Prodigy are very powerful in their own right.

My team is based off of what I would like to read. A lot of character Dynamics and I like how the Tactician/Genius is also kind of the emergency self destruct button. I could see the Dynamics being as follows;
 
Cyclops mentors Patriot but is also kind of tough on him at first.
Adam Warlock is Stoic and Alien while Spidey is lively and Worldly, kind of joking around with him but they have a mutual understanding.
Iron-Fist is a Master of Emotional control while Banner is a Slave to uncontrollable Rage. They Meditate together and IF teaches Banner to defend himself.

• Warrior - The relentless fighter. This character is the one who charges into battle with little thought for their own survival; they thrive on the battlefield.Strictly street-level only. The physical limit is someone on Venom's level.
• Eagle - The watchful protector. This character is always watching the backs of the team with an eagle's eye. Energy users are allowed, but no one above Cyclops' level.
  
• Genius - The dedicated tactician. This is the character who ensures the team is not unprepared. He/she provides a means for the team's abilities to be enhanced and their effectiveness increased. Power limit is, again, Doctor Doom.
  
• Prodigy - The incredible youth. The youngest member of the team, and often the heart. When all lights go out, this member is a reminder of what the team fights for. The character must be young and show promising talents. No Franklin Richards. There is no 'limit', but don't go and pick the ridiculously overpowered.
