Iceman vs Thor

Thor, God of Thunder, uses his enormous strength, stamina and durability to withstand everything Iceman throws at him and then calls down the lighting to an absolutedly breathtaking degree, utterly reducing Iceman to steam. Thor wins.

I think I remember Thor being frozen one time. It was in the issue involving Kurse and Malekith. Probably because of the Casket of Ancient Winters.

I'm thinking Thor can take this.

The only real display of Ice Man's power came in X-men: Untapped Potential way back in 80s when under Emma's mindcontrol he flash froze an entire city with everyone in it, and spend the next issue crying :p

to be honest thor wins this without a HUGE amount of trouble,be a good fight,but come on thors got too many ways to win.

Can Thor be hurt or killed by getting his internal organs frozen ? if so iceman could just turn into mist or whatever travel inside his body,only to reform in midget size & just destroys thors insides like nothing .

Bobby would take him bloodlusted or not...only if he had full control of his powers though otherwise i feel sorry for him.

Few people actually think Bobby can win this fight? WTF he would be Ko'ed before he can blink an eye. Ofcorse this isn't bloodlust so he wold not be incinerated by Thor but really,how the hell can Bobby even dream about fighting one of earths strongest beings.

@xxxddd: bfr for starts,lighting blasts,teleports him,thor is one of marvels top tier hitters,iceman is a tough cookie but thor wont be frozen,doesnt need oxygen,and can pretty much tank anything bobby can hit him with. thor wins this imo.

I am pretty sure that if this was a iceman vs superman topic then it would have already been locked by a mod,but suddenly when it's a more well known character vs less known character then it's all fair even thought it's totally not. Iceman would be knocked out in one blow. And an argument for Thor....well how about this....Thor beat the ice giant king who was not only made of ice but also turned everything that even came slightly close to him into ice,any living thing that even dared come close to him had their blood frozen and then they were smashed into small ice bits. Now if Thor could beat that guy....iceman would be like a toothpick.

You do realize that aside from the insanely figid temperatures Thor is regularly exposed to in Asgard that he has also routinely traveled in the cold depths of outerspace....?

@ghost_rider1: Did you even look at the scans? Executioner (a Frost Giant, whose primary power is freezing), froze Thor solid. Thor busted out of it easy.

Thor has withstood much colder temperatures than Bobby uses to freeze his enemies.
