How does he even hurt Clark?

After reading this entire thread, I'm going with Iceman both rounds.

same rule as human torch with ice man if it bleeds or has moisture It cant be dehydrated or blood super boiled.... in icemans case flash freeze... I don't know why everyone think torch and iceman are week they are extremely op if you think about it

When has Iceman ever done that? He has the potential to do so, but, unless we're talking about the AoA Bobby here, he really has no idea of his full potential and is at best incapable of doing that. Emma Frost did try to train him, but he wasn't able perform what he was told to do. He has no way of putting Kal down.

Can he freeze all liquids? If so freeze Clarks blood.

He doesnt need FTL anything. He can freeze supes blood flow with a simple thought. He doesnt need to touch Superman at all. But on the other hand, there is nothing supes can do to win this battle

The FTL reaction also applies to thoughts. Superman can throw him in the sun faster than he can think. And, just out of curiosity, when has Iceman ever frozen anyone's blood with a mere thought?

Iceman although in a book Superman would win.

The way done people talk its like they think iceman could beat thanos or Darkseid

He's done it to emma frost...he froze her blood flow to her brain. And first thing....supermam has NEVER even when bloodlusted thru someone into orbit. And second....even IF supes tried that he would just turn into water vapor and reform....BFR dont work on iceman....no matter how u look at this.....superman loses. Just for the record, he threw some teleporter guy into the Orbit in Mach 7 in one of his movies, don't remember the name. It showed how fast Superman is, being able to kill a teleporter by throwing him into Orbit, a teleporter.

Not anymore..he gained full control over his abilities very recently and owned Thor with them.

These are facts and this will be iceman down fall. iceman has no method to stop or kill superman. What iceman will do is anger superman and superman is going to use his vision and scan him. Which will make the fight easier for superman . Superman will come up with method to stop iceman in any form . That just how the characters fights .

IF Iceman is truly Immortal then its a stale mate and since it didnt say in comics he was well he can be defeated .

@termiteone4ever: what will his vision reveal? Iceman is made of ice? Freezing Supes blood is an option for victory and if people want to nit pick this than its a stalemate as Supes can't really hurt Bobby.

Iceman just doesn't make ice...he absorbs all kinetic enegy into a stand still...absolute zero...molecules cease to move...which makes the air freeze...superman won't be moving anywhere...it essentially a speed steal...ice can exist in every particle of air in the atmosphere...Supes will indeed have trouble with bobby

Interesting match. VERY interesting in fact. Iceman is shown to have so much potential but never completely used it to its full extent. The fog and mist from the cold air around wont affect Iceman, as he can see through people's heat signature. Neither will it affect Superman because of his X-Ray vision. Lets see...

Judging with Superman's ability, he is able to expand the range of his heat vision over an army of flawed Doomsday clones. His super strength can kill Ice-man in one hit. Ice-Man is a mutant, but he still can only endure just as much as a human could(besides the cold of course). Literally, one hit from Superman, he could die. Not to mention Superman's super speed, he cold move faster than the speed of sound. Unless Ice-man can dodge a one-hit-KO punch moving at the speed of sound, he probably won't win. Superman has more abilities but we'll get to that later.

Judging with Ice-man's abilities and Superman's naivety, Ice man WILL have enough time to attack Superman. Superman ALWAYS lets his opponents have a chance of attack, thats just the way he is. Iceman can use surrounding moisture to augment himself, and to function as frozen water will allow him to travel within large bodies of the substance almost instantly.Iceman has the ability to transform himself into nothing more than water vapor, yet remain consciousness and retain the use of his powers. His conscious control over his power is so great, that he has been able to exist at two places at once, and has even exist everywhere at the same time without any physical body as he has transcended such physical limitations.

Superman's speed and strength alone won't give him victory. However, he is able to see the electromagnetic spectrum, see things in a molecular level, and use his laser vision at the same time, destroying water molecules with super speed. Will that stop Iceman though? They are fighting in Antarctica, the whole Battlefield is Iceman. As stated, Iceman never used his abilities to his full extent just as Superman would never chop the head of his opponent with his super speed and super strength using his hand. They just don't fight like that. Superman is able to regenerate at a high rate as well. Fast enough to heal when Wonder Woman sliced his whole throat with her tiara. Superman's ability to regenerate, destroy and see things in a molecular level at super speed, his super strength, flight, and his heat vision will be a great asset in prevailing. However, being that the location is in Antarctica, Iceman is fighting in his own environment, where he can be everyone at once. He can change his fighting style to a liquid, solid, or even a gas at any moment.

CONCLUSION:

Superman wins

Though many people said Superman with ease, Superman would struggle long and hard to win. But he would definitely win. IF, however, Iceman does get better and utilizes his abilities to its full extent, Iceman will definitely be able to defeat Superman. But as of right now, Superman wins due to his superior abilities in regeneration, super stamina, super speed, and laser vision.

There's no way for Clark to put down Bobby, but Iceman can't hurt Superman. Eventually I think Iceman would take this, if this is omega level Bobby.

I don't really know how Absolute Zero would affect Kryptonian physiology. So who really knows?

O level Bobby never ever goes down apparently.

There is absolutely no proof that Icemans powers would effect Superman's physiology. Also I'm not sure if his new 52 armour would initially protect him. After all it does help preserve solar energy.

Stalemate? Bobby isn't fast enough, Supes cannot kill or incapacitate him

I see it going like this Superman spams him with punches and as he sees all of bobbies parts disperse he will immediately do his victory dance whatever it may be. Bobby will reform and freeze his brains.

@jbourne_32: Superman doesn't do victory dances, and there is no proof that absolute zero will effect Superman. Superman will be able to detect Bobby reforming with his microscopic vision and alter his attack. Superman could just vaporise Bobby at any extent concidering how wide and hot he can make his heat vision. Bobby does horribly.

Bobby wins Round 1 simply because Superman can't kill him without murdering everyone else.

Round 2, Superman wins by going out into space and glassing the planet with heat vision.

it doesn't work like that. if supes is already moving then he will keep moving.

Morals off, Superman blitz-throws Bobby into the sun.

Round 1 is a stalemate, dont see how they could really harm one another, maybe iceman wins if he freezes the moisture from supes body but round 2 is a ungodly stomp for superman. He sundips, and incinerates the planet.

Guys i found the answers to all of this .

1 ) Superman finds a meteorite in space, and aims it towards planet earth which will destroy the whole planet .

2 ) He pushes the earth few lightyears towards the sun , so the earth heats up and dries out ( bye iceman ) .

3 ) Superman flies into the center of the earth , and messed it up so the earth erupts everywhere .

4 ) Superman pushes the earth towards a black hole .

5 ) Superman lures iceman to a certain place, and then lifts up the entire area and throws it towards the sun ( unless ice mans mind is divided around the entire world any time ) .

there is no way for iceman to beat superman. superman can beat bobby to a pulp before he even knew a fight had started. in round 2 he just tosses bobby into space before bobby even knew a fight started. superman can move faster than bobby can think. he can't freeze supes. he won't even be able to sense superman. supes is just on another level than iceman.

Wow, best debate I've read on CV. Both sides gave an in depth argument of there case, and I actually learned a lot about both characters. At the end of the day I'm sold on an Iceman victory, since by this point Supes fans are saying, "show a scan of Iceman defeating a Kryptonian or Superman wins." That's really reaching.
