Iceman vs Superboy (New 52)

I'm gonna go with Iceman.

Superboy's TK seems to make him invulnerable to temperature change. As seen in him walking through lava with no discomfort, having no trouble with atmospheric re-entry and space flight.

Though I don't think that'd be enough to constitute being completely immune to Iceman's powers in general.

Probably a stalemate. More likely Iceman should have an infinitesimal advantage.

Superboy is protected by a telekinetic forecefield. It's the thing that protects him from... basically everything. The only time this was utterly bypassed was against H'el, and he was a likewise telekinetic and matter manipulator. I don't think Bobby can just flash freeze Kon.

@reactor: Well eventually Bobby will get thru dont you think?? Superboy will just be wasting his power since he cant keep bobby down

• Telekinesis: In the New 52 Superboys powers have been altered slightly, now he has shown full on telekinetic powers in place of kryptonian ones he has yet to display He's shown the typical aspects of a telekinetic; e.i. throwing people and objects around, stopping bullets in mid air, making himself invisible by bending visible light, reach into and alter ones minds and memories, etc.

• Tactile Telekinesis: By applying his TK to himself he has shown a wide diversity in simulated usage of his mental abilities to supplement some his physical ones.

• Simulated Heat Vision: by vibrating molecules within his line of sight superboy can set things ablaze through the application of extreme heat

• Cloned Kryptonian Physiology

• Superhuman Strength: under his own power without the use of a TK field, conner can lift a few tons of weight.
• Invulnerability: shown that even without the application of his telekinesis, superboy can resist most forms of physical trauma on his own.
• Healing: through a yet as of unknown means kon can heal various injuries quite nicely.

Strength level

Superboy can lift and press over 3 tons. He can possibly lift more, the current limits of his strength are not known.

Bobby travels inside the blood in Konnor's and freezes him from the inside out.

Can bobby reform from steam? If not kon melt's his ice body to steam and he wins.

Bloodlusted Iceman is every where at once so Superboy won't be able to hurt him while Iceman just go's inside him & freezes his brain.

Never knew iceman was the powerful,if true he would actually be a good fight for anyone.

Course Superboy can see or sense bobby all around him with his TTK senses,then with his TK pull him together,disperse him,or mess with him on the molecular level.

Superboy uses his Tk to mess with Bobby ice brain.

Iceman in Ice form has no brain to mess with so unless Superboy gains a high level telepathy he aren't doing nothing.

Superboy has shown no limits to his TK. Especially in terms of heat management.

You obviously made this thread with a winner in mind. I even agreed that the only one with a reachable win condition was Iceman... That being said, I doubt he reaches it.

It's a stalemate unless you can show Bobby's flash freezing bypassing tk fields made to defend against heat manipulation.

The thing is though the SUPERs were built to handle things like space, being close to the sun,on dead cold planets,and bobby isn't god, he is just a elemental, so he can throw cold in all it's forms at you,kon could and should be able to defend against that.

Oh and yeah the OP created this thread with a winner in mind,just look how he is fighting for HIS character to win.

So why make this thread then? Why make battles against someone you keep saying there's no way to keep down?

Having read a lot of Thor, there's a fair bit of jobbing involved with him there.! just to counter, he gets impaled by ice and goes down, yet, he's been shown to be taken a Valkyrie spear straight through the back coming out of his chest, and pulls it without many issues and proceeds to kick ass afterwards which eventually leads to him fighting Odin in the Destroyer armour! Not discrediting Bobby and haven't read a lot of xmen over the last number of years, he's starting to reach the Flash level of fanboyism where he's going to be totally unbeatable and taking down skyfathers and gods in general!!

couldnt Superboy just make his forcefield and then toss iceman into space?

My mans Iceman. He froze the blood to Emma's brain to stop her from using TP, same thing applies here. Iceman then proceeds to freeze him and throw a party with Superboy being the ice sculpture.

bobby should beat him easily
