Iceman can prevent fire users from using their powers I think. Iceman wins
...Firestorms power isn't fire, it's atomic transmutation. He could look at Bobby and turn him into chocolate pudding.
Yea...I just read up on him. Its not gonnaa beat iceman...he will jus immediately reform. Iceman powers are so vast that defeated powerful beings such as legion and oblivion. Firestorm not gonna be a problem@ghost_rider1 said:

so if Firestorm turns him into dirt...then what?
Even if Iceman cant be permanently killed, the OP doesnt say it has to be a victory by permanent death. So. presumably, Firestorm can still win by KO or simple one-time death.
Firestorm wins!

Iceman can't "reform" into ice once he's transformed into chocolate pudding or whatever Firstorm desires to turn him into.

I don't understand your question...
Once Iceman is turned into inorganic dirt, he can't do anything...? He's non-existent. What must you be trying to say?

@Jayfournines: Bobby's body has little bearing on it. His consciousness is the issue, I am not sure what Firestorm could do, then again not sure if Bobby can override Firestorm's own control.
That question can be asked about firestorm. If iceman flash freeze his molecules then wat firestorm gonna do...@ghost_rider1 said:

@Icameforthebeerandthebitches: Firestorm goes intangible by lowering his density. That won't help him since Iceman's not throwing chunks of ice at or around him, he's freezing him, which lowers the energies of his very molecules.
@termiteone4ever: Come on buddy you know Iceman wins since firestorms power wont even work on bobby
Firestorm wins. Here's why:
Or he could turn Iceman's brain into FroYo. I don't think Bobby can reform unconsciously.
Not that i can't see why Firestorm would win this, but didn't Ice Man freeze the sun once or something?
People saying Firestorm can transmute Iceman and Iceman can transmute Firestorm into water. Easy!
Scans? I don't really care that much for the debates in this thread but you better show proof of Ice Man ever being capable of doing this on a consistent basis or else other people will just tell that you're pulling nonsense out of your ass and you'll forever have a reputation as a complete and total joke in the Battle Forums in this site.
@life_without_progress: You don't know that Iceman can transmute anything into ice/water right? Anyways, Iceman can survive as an ice, water or gas and he is immortal and omnipresent.

I've read a lot of X-Men comic books featuring Ice Man and he's never shown to transmute someone into water outside of liquids themselves. Arguments with actual proof through scans >Arguments with head canon and baseless assumptions. Show me the scans already of him transmuting another person into liquid.
Also if we're going with that kind of "argument", what would stop Firestorm from just pulling away the mutant gene from Ice Man's DNA to turn him from being a mutant into a human just like what Deathstorm did (evil version of Firestorm) to Captain Cold when Deathstorm took away Cold's powers in Rogues Rebellion #2 (outside of experience with his powers and his morals)
@life_without_progress: It's Captain Cold, not Iceman. You can't compare different characters although they do have similar abilities. Captain Cold cannot become organic ice whereas on other hand, Iceman could. Anyways, a person on an Iceman Respect Thread said that Iceman can transmute others into water so I don't know. I do read a lot of X-Men comic books (including solo series) though. Despite, this, Iceman can control all forms of moisture, freeze fluids inside people's bodies, travel as a liquid, solid or gas. Iceman decreases thermal energy so maybe he could just absorb Firestorm's heat and maybe he can take this fight.

Captain Cold was actually able to generate organic ice from within his body during the New 52 after getting his cold gun's abilities fused to his body prior to Deathstorm's attack so I don't know what you're trying to get at here. The Jason Rusch version of Firestorm is also capable of transmuting organic material so Ice Man being organic ice or human isn't doing much on saving him in this battle.
As for the second bold part, Ice Man decreasing Firestorm's heat is a non factor in this battle, since Firestorm's main usage of his powers is through transmutation instead simple nuclear pyrokinesis.
