Human Torch vs Pyro

Wonder if Pyro can control Human Torch's flame.....

Ya Pyro can control fire, if he can control Human Torches fire its game over, conversely if he can't the Human Torch will slaughter him.

Johnny. Always and forever.

Jonny. Even if Pyro can control his flame what is he going to do with it? Burn the Human Torch? This should become H2H in which case Jonny will bring the beat down.

That won't do much of anything. Besides, Johnny also has the power to control fire regardless of formation. I doubt Pyro has greater control.

Pyro has a huge disadvantage here because he's not fire proof. Even if Pyro shut Johnny down there'd be nothing he could do to hurt him

Oh I am def not saying Pyro wins, I was just stating he could possibly turn off Johnny's fire if he has control over it.

I know that if Torch goes plasma mode (hotter then 4000 degrees) he's stomped

Technically Pyro could KO Johnny with a solid fire construct but I see Johnny likely winning here.

Idk if Pyro can control Johnny's fire but if so, I think it'd be funny if Johnny went to H2H with Pyro for a moment before bursting into flames surprising Pyro and burning him since Pyro isn't fireproof.

Johnny stomps and this has definitely been done before.

Pyro isn't fireproof. Johnny is. So let Pyro control Johnny's flames. Johnny makes more and then boosts the heat til Pyro can't survive. Conversely, say Pyro manages to stop Johnny from making any more flames, what's he going to do then? Throw fire at him? Maybe hit him with that gas tank on his back? Y'know. The one full of flammable gas. That'll end well. All Pyro can do once Johnny's flames are out is run. And I'd put money on all the crap Johnny's gone through making him a better hand to hand fighter. So Johnny finds him and layeth the smackdown.

Johnny Storm takes this. Maybe not with ease, but he takes it regardless.

Human Torch, definitely.

Although i have 3 rounds with different situations, i think the scenarios should put in enough differences to save this thread from being unworthy.

This all comes down to whomever has better mastery over fire. When two people have similar powers, it comes down to which of them is more skilled at utilising them for example, Superman and Supergirl(Kara). Yes, Jonney cannot be hurt by fire attacks as his body is on fire. It also holds true that Pyro is made of flesh, which means he can be burned by Jonney's fire attacks. However, If Pyro has better manipulation and mastery over fire, he could just negate or offset Jonney's fire attacks. Even if Torch somewhere managed to create a wall of fire surrounding Pyro, he'd be giving him more ammunition. Torch can shoot all the fire he wants but pyro would just control it and counter, Although,

Why does everyone think Pyro can't hurt HT with his own flame Pyro can turn fire into a solid objects, he could just form a solid flame Iron Maiden around HT & impale him.

Didn't HT actually stomp Pyro pretty hard during the 90s?

I'm not sure but I know Pyro made HT lose control of his powers during a demonstration at the Xavier Institute.

Umm.. Johnny also has pyrokinesis, so what's stopping him from stealing the flame back?

Depends whose a better fighter because fire can't harm neither of them so it comes down to a fist fight right?

Technically no. Pyro is not immune to fire that he himself does not control, so Johnny can still burn him. I don't either of the have any H2H feats, though Johnny has had some training from Ben.

Pyro can be burned, and I'm not sure if he could manipulate Torch's fire so Torch ftw.

@acrokat: he can't torches flame is a fire like plasma not real flame and torch has a better manipulation over fire and heat than pyro.

Pyro can't be harmed by the fire he mentally control, he can just use Johnny's fire.
