Human Team vs Thanos

Thanos arrives on an alternate reality Earth and begins to try to conquer it. This should be easy, since he's found a version of Earth with no metahumans, no mutants, no gods, and no aliens around to bother him. What he doesnt know is that Earth still has its defenders... a team of humans armed with advanced alien tech and equipment that might just be able to stop him. The team knows they're fighting for all the marbles here and that Thanos is an evil and dangerous enemy. So far millions have already died in the initial battles. They're not holding back or letting morals prevent them from doing what they need to do. Can they succeed?

Thanos... Hal and Quasar are good but youd need 2 more cosmic characters to stand a chance. and one of them would need to be a Thor/Gladiator/MMH type. Someone who could contend physically with Thanos

@serrure: I kind of agree, you need maybe 2 other cosmic's levels on there level, to make it closer; however Thanos wins.

None of them can contend physically with Big T. Everyone misinterprets what Thanos was doing when he BFR'd Gladiator. Besides, more recently, he strangled Supreme Hyperion to death with one hand.

Thanos gives them that good ass whooping.

Under the circumstances given, not really? I'd give them 1-2 out of 10 being generous.

Groot was able to do some form of physical harm to Thanos. not to mention that they dont need to actually beat him or overpower him, they just need to have the durability to distract him, which the above mentioned 3 have plenty off. And Yes Thor/Gladiator/MMH would be able to contend physically with Thanos.

@serrure: the groot showing was total garbage and a low showing for Thanos. He tanked a full hammer swing from Thor in Infinity like nothing. You telling me Groot has superior striking power? Nonsense

Whoa... I was starting to think no one would vote for the team. But now we have 2 votes. Personally, I think that them being bloodlusted gives them the chance they need. Hal Jordan alone bloodlusted is no joke, although granted I dont think he can take Thanos down alone. But, he did do this:

All members of the justice league has to take on darkseid in justice league war, and barely won, and Thanos is stronger than darkseid. Thanos wins this by a long shot.
