actually it kind of killed off Green Lantern sales and split Green Lantern fans down the middle...

it was mainly done as a point to 'reorganize' the DCU after The Death of Superman and the complete destruction of Coast City (Hal Jordan's home) and the death of everyone Hal held dear...

again... it was a plot device they used to fix several things in the DCU, including bringing back the Green Lantern Corps, after Old Parallax had killed them all lol

yeah but the version of the specter that Ion was talking to was the weakest version power wise because he was limited by Hal Jordan's inability to do what the spectre was created for, cast judgement and vengeance. Hal didn't want to do any of that so it weakened the spectre and it wasn't the spectre that was in shock it was Hal.

As with Hal's entire run of The Specter, it's always been upto interpretation about what he could / couldn't do

Nope... Specter can emulate Green Lantern powers... but he isn't a green lantern... he can have whatever powers he wants though, which is probably why he used Green Lantern powers when Hal was in control...

something Hal felt comfortable using and all that...

Lobo would be a tough competor considering hes taken sups on and sups is obviousley stronger than hulk so ill go with lobo unless its ww hulk.

No size was given for the planet the only thing that hints to how big the planet was is the number of moons. There were 12 moons if anything the planet was bigger than the earth. Also do you have scans of the solar system feat? I never knew lobo did that 0_O. Did he use a bomb or something?

It wasn't under his own power or with standard equipment. It was with a really really big pirated weapon.

That said though, Lobo's destroyed planets before.

Any ways I say lobo wins. Mainly due to healing factor and weapons.

LOBO annihilate the HULK due to his intelligence, weaponry, blood multiplies, healing factor, invulnerability, immortality, strength, speed, durability, amongst a host of other abilities.

hulk wins he beats lobo to death again and again and again until lobo gives up or until hulk dies of old age.
