Team 1 stomps with equalized Speed.

Speed is the only reason I give Superman a win over Thor. Other than that, Thor has every advantage over Superman pretty much.

I mean Thor is going to cause serious trouble alone for the team, adding Hyperion and Hulk in seals the deal.

Hyperion is at least as strong Superman.

Thor is more powerfull and stronger than Cap MArvel.

Thor also can one-shot Superman with lightnings as Ocean Master did.

Superman might be able to beat Hyperion

Hulk and thor slaughter billy and Grundy, they'll land every hit with equalised speed.

Hulk and thor then proceed to help Hyperion with superman and they just bully him for the next ten days.

With equalized speed i don't see why Team 1 wouldn't win every time.

Team 1 handily superman only stands a chance against thor is because of speed so thor beats him hulk beats Grundy then thor and hulk help Hyperion against shazam

The fact that you have to nerf the characters dramatically makes it a boring match. Let's take a giant portion of hulk's strength. let's take thor's hammer away. let's take hyperion's heat blast. see? it's purposely built to make team 1 the victor.

@injusticeforall: not true im just tired of people only saying someone wins due to speed blitzes. That's not nerfing dramatically it puts them on an even playing field they still have all of their abilities other than an obvious advantage

@chaos911: there's plenty counters for it. It's true people do that but if you correct them, give a clear reason/s why it won't work then it should settle it. If they keep using the same argument just don't count their opinion.

Just because it upsets you that the character you favour losses doesn't make the people who say it wrong, speed blitz is an acceptable answer if the opponent cam't handle it, I think you need to take a look at what you've written before you claim others are fanboys.

People constantly claim Spiderman blitzes when the differences between his speed and Supermans is colossal so why haven't you taken an issue with them?

What has Spider-Man and Superman got to do, they have never been in a thread together because it would get locked; it doesn't upset me, it may upset you in this thread, because you can't say speed blitz for the win.

Team MARVEL wins. Nevermind the fact that the speed is equal, but per op these are New52 versions of Superman and Capt Marvel. To make it a little more even it should be PreNew52 versions of Cap and Supes. You can still have the speed equalized, but at least give Cap and Supes access to their prior feats, because as it stands now New52 Cap hasn't really done much of anything feat worthy other than knocking a New52 Superman on his a$$ once.

I'd say with these rules Team MARVEL probably wins a healthy 7-8/10

You missed his point. He was pointing out that people have said the spiderman beats some of his opponents via speed blitz in the same vein that people say Superman beats x person via speedblitz but yet you have taken no qualms against that because Spiderman is marvel and Superman is DC thus his suspicion of you being a fanboy. I partially agree.

I see this thread for what it is. A poor attempt to put marvel over dc. I mean Solomon Grundy?! Are you serious? The guy that batman takes down...a street level character. And then it says that he's on "superman level" wtf does that mean? is that a buff to grundy to be as strong as superman? if so then I don't see why he would have any trouble with the hulk.

despite the ridiculous nerfs to team 2. they still hold the advantage versatility wise and should be able to handle this. (assuming grundy is at "superman level")
