Poll How many Thors could conquer DC Earth? (111 votes)
Original idea goes to @cara_hunter.
How many could do it? Not necessarily killing everyone, just subjugating them.
616 Thor, but without Rune King/any other power-ups. Just vanilla Thor.

I have no idea, the problem with Thor is that his combat speed isn't very fast, hes got power but no speed. And if you were to compare his combat speed to Flash or Zooms...yeah you would need a lot of Thors
@cooldes: I doubt one Thor could conquer DC Earth, though XD
It couldn't happen. I don't think even if Odin got involved could Thor do anything against The Spectre.
@bo88gdan: no he doesnt.read the op!
@juiceboks: splash damage
@cara_hunter: No prob!
No amount of Thor's can conquer DC Earth. There are quite a bit of characters he just can't touch. How would any of them defeat Zoom? Or MM? Swamp Thing? Spectre? Dr. Fate? Phantom Stranger?
Sufficient amount(s) of Thor can beat Zoom, not all of them are going to be on the planet at the same time. And Zoom can't speed steal, so he would have to resort to punch, which can take some time.
Thor's Mjolnir is capable of harming even intangible opponent, I think he have done that to Vision before (he disrupt him to the point he become tangible), but I don't remember. Godblast should also works.
It's possible for him to beat Swamp Thing, as long as he is not at certain level of power.
Post-crisis Dr. Fate isn't all that powerful (the only Dr. Fate that is on SS Strange's level is Kent Nelson), I think Thor could beat him.
Though Spectre and Phantom Stranger are the real problem that might prevent Thor from beating them, but if they're sufficiently jobbed, they could be beaten.

How would they actually beat him though? They wouldn't be able to throw a punch before he knocks them all out. If they're not actually on the earth then he'd just wait until they touch down and rinse and repeat.
Scan of that? Intangibility isn't the only thing J'onn has going for him.
What are you talking about? As long as Swamp Thing is connected to the earth, he's as strong as he wants to be. How would Thor take him down?
On the contrary, Hector Hall was pretty damn powerful when he wasn't jobbing in JSA. Thor wouldn't bother him too much.
How would Thor ever beat Spectre even if he was jobbing, which he most likely wouldn't be considering the situation at hand?
@noone301994 What's stopping full power Spectre from depowering them all?
Spectre and a lot of the earth based abstract-esque(Phantom Stranger, Jakeem Thunder) would make it a big problem
I also think Mazikeen would solo all the Thor's but I think Lucifer continuity and main DC continuity are different.
I'll say 1000. 10 is enough to hold off any and every hero, while a good hundred or so of them snipe with lightning and god blasts and w/e. I think 1000 Thors would be a good match for normal strength Spectre (not powered by the presence). Everyone else gets handled by 10 Thors.

Yeah Poster-Induced-Stupidity is prevalent on CV.
Rune king Thor solos :D
lol fail
Stupid idea since there are heroes and villains who could mind-rape every Thor into fighting the others that come after.

Well all he'd have to do is destroy the earth not actually Combat every one .
Better question how many hearts can the flashes get within a day?
lol
As with similar, but opposite thread (Martians and Marvel) - (t)he(y) can't do it. I am not sure which telepaths/demons/gods/reality warpers are now present on DC Earth, but there have to be some, that can solo him.
One thing - Flash isn't the most important here, since in character he wouldn't end this attack. Out of character? Possibly.
@hellionvulcan: Well all he'd have to do is destroy the earth not actually Combat every one .
The problem here lies in the fact that several heroes just on DC Earth could either prevent/undo such an attack via reality warping of their own. Jakeem Thunder alone presents a serious problem to this "Thor Conquering the DC Earth" premise. Not to mention the other beasts previously mentioned by others in this thread.
@joygirl: does SPectre usually fight any alien army trying to invade DC Earth?

OP says to conquer Earth. You don't conquer something by destroying it.
@betatesthighlander1 Considering Jim Corrigan lives on DC Earth, I don't see why he wouldn't defend it if it was really in danger like in this scenario.
@juiceboks: so Spectre usually just uses his god-powers to destroy the enemy instantly whenever Apokolips, or Nekron, or Brainiac attacks Earth?

Spectre stopped Darkseid invasion, Brainiac invasion, Imperiex invasion, Kryptonians attack, Martians attack, H'el's attack and many others right?
Well, the number gets alot bigger if the villains were also involved, but I am assuming they don't. But even then I would say like 100,000,000. If they all attacked together. BUT THEN AGAIN, if we look at Superman/Batman Apocalypse, Supes took out an entire army of Doomsdays. (Considering D-Day can beat Thor) So, I think Superman can take a LOT of them.

there's no option for 10^10^100...
yeah i know i wished that was there too

Doomsdays that Superman annihilated were clones, some of them were beaten by Batman, and Thor can beat Doomsday.
@bigcimmerian: Some versions of Doomsday yes. H/P version not so much. Doesn't matter much anyway with the Earth Based Cosmics.
me too...
