@eagerbuttermilk: Does spiderman get prep time? If he does and figures out that his weakness is kryptonite he will find some put it in his web and its over.

I can't believe people are assuming Spiderman is going to try to beat Superman hand to hand...he's not an idiot. I recall in another thread, Spiderman has some pretty good prep feats.

Infinity gillion gagillion!

Enough spidermans to collapse under their own weight to form into a supermassive black hole. Or perhaps enough to collapse the entire universe into a big crunch by sheer mass.

Honestly.... This.

#23 Edited by AngryHulks (3001 posts) - - Show Bio

Maybe hundreds of Spider-Man with preparation, and lot and lot of kryptonites.

#24 Edited by The_Undying_Tombstone (284 posts) - - Show Bio

@schillenger420: And the worst/best part is they'd be wisecracking throughout the whole thing as the universe begins to break down due to the sheer overload of spidermen.

#25 Posted by AngryHulks (3001 posts) - - Show Bio

Impossible, all Superman has to do is Sun-dip for a week, blow up the planet and GG.

I don't think Superman is willing to kill even a single Spider-Man, especially when he can just let Spider-Man punch him for indefinite amount of time and he still won't feel a thing.

People. It's not this Spider-Man

Cosmic spidey can solo supes. Regular spidey is not doing it no matter the number

#30 Posted by Shawnbaby (10584 posts) - - Show Bio

I honestly figured that people that frequent a site dedicated to reading comic books would be literate enough to read the word "Cosmic" in front of the word "Spider-Man"

#31 Posted by matchesmalone21 (8595 posts) - - Show Bio

Superman already beat Lex Luthor with prep and wearing a battlesuit ,while was weakened by red sun radiation and then goes to the sun to recharge and knocked out. This is Superman with morals on :)

I honestly figured that people that frequent a site dedicated to reading comic books would be literate enough to read the word "Cosmic" in front of the word "Spider-Man"

he stills speed blitzed them there would need to be an infinite amount of spidey's to win.

COSMIC SPIDER-MAN

COSMIC SPIDER-MAN

COSMIC SPIDER-MAN

COSMIC SPIDER-MAN

How are people blatantly missing this?

Going to the sun would constitute BFR...which means he loses by default

And...once again for the people in the cheap seats...This isn't regular Spider-Man...It's Cosmic Spider-Man.

This is simply untrue. 1 Captain Universe Spider-Man is a good match against Superman. Any more than 1 and it's a stomp for Spidey.

@shawnbaby: speed spears for cs?

Superman has morals on...he's not going to immediately go for a speed blitz anyway...so it doesn't matter...but many hosts of the Uni-Power have shown to be able to travel at light speed.

The Cosmic Spider-Men however have morals off...

COSMIC SPIDERMAN

The uni-power gives its host as much power as it needs to accomplish the task at hand.

So given that Spider-man is fighting Superman, it would give him a lot of power.

With normal Spiderman, Superman just leaves. With cosmic, Spiderman just gets enough power to annihilate Superman.

He changed it to Cosmic Spider-Man after he already made the thread...which anyone who actually reads through the thread can see. Post #13.

And there's no excuse for not reading the OP regardless.

spidey bloodlusted is very strong. He can hit very hard. supes would feel the blows. Spidey showed off his strength in fear itself when he attacked a possessed thing. Imagine 500 spiderman pulling and throwing supes around. I think supes would find them annoying because of all the dodging. I think 500 to 800 could KO supes. If supes was bloodlusted then no

#48 Posted by Cooldes (3993 posts) - - Show Bio

@cfrehse: all of that may be true, but this is

Cosmic Spiderman.

It'll only take ONE to put down supes.
