How exactly would Reed/Doom react to flash with "prep"

People say Reed/Doom can stomp Flash, if the have prep. But how? How would they even be able to react to someone mftl ?

Same way Batman did. Or they could just remove his power altogether.

Reacting to Flash in the first place means you're playing his game. A smart person wouldn't even do that at all.

That vid is still cool though.

They'd probably make some anti-speed force zone or something like that.

They could:

1. Put up auto-energy drainers

2. Put up auto shields to block him out (forcefields too)

3. Become auto-intangible

4. Put a decoy in the way

5. Have the entire field use w/e to slow him down

6. Have something timed to go off

etc.

Saying "Reed is a genius. He'll know how" isn't a valid argument

yes it's valid if that person with his genius level was able to defeat Doom, Galactus, make a fool of the Avengers, and an alternate version of him was able to defeat a bunch of powerful abstract beings including Living Tribunal

For Reed, yes it is. He's a plot device, like Superman's or Hulk's strength, it's always enough to overcome whatever the situation, unless plot dictates otherwise.

@comandermurf: I see people have replied already. But he can make a phantom zone for the Flash or something.

Also, Reeds are plotting to defeat God Doom using genius (I think its PIS)so its valid. Also he is literally a genius.

They deal with Flash the same way they deal with movement in a universe frozen in time : via Reeds time dilation belts that allow the user to explicitly move in their own timeline , zoom style so as to ignore the effects of a universe wide time dilation

Ok first doom has tp so if he knows that flash is in the area then he could react as thought in marvel is >>>> speed... Now if the question is how would he react if flash is already running then it would be more he has shields up and he could slow him down by manipulating the air around him or getting some magical assistance to where he could banish the speed force... Could that be done? hell I don't know but doom or the maker could figure it out if it could....

@claymore1998: I could be wrong but I remember that being brain washed Kristoff & the tech was stolen. Although that's not outside of Doom and Reed's ability to reverse engineer or create.

only in certain instances and certain ones and he has to know the tp is coming.... If he doesn't know then he can't do his tp resist thing and that hasn't even worked throughout his whole history and began with wally.... I don't remember new 52 barry resisting yet but he may have...

Well morales on flashes will conversion giving either of the two time use some sort of toxin. Morales off they could make speedforce drainage zone. If doom needed he could steal falshes powers.

without pis they would be paste before they can even implement any crazy plot.

it pretty easy , if you force him into a cold environment , he slows down to maybe QS speed , then its easy to handle him

Jamming his connection to the speedforce like Vibe can.

Creating an absolute zero field like Captain Cold has.

Bending space to the point Flash has to move a million miles for each millimeter.

Slowing down time.

Changing the ground and air around them in a way that Flash doesn't have a foothold anymore.

Putting up an energy field.

Reeds body is so malleable he can turn into paste of his own free will. Doom wears power armor made from enchanted materials. These two are highly durable to most damage especially blunt damage.

all that stuff depends on the flash acting in a certain way. that bullet thing that batman came up is just dumb. he could have just dodge the bullet and snapped bruce's neck or killed him before he even pulled the trigger. there really is no way that they can really force the flash to do something he doesn't want to do. those 2 will be toast if the flash wanted those 2 dead.

@newecho: he can't react fast enough to use tp, flash is faster than thought.

@imperialwizard: he is faster than thought in DC but marvel its different. Thought is faster than anything and explained by professor x many times on how he tp speed. Also I have already explained that if flash is already running then he would have to be able to sense him.. Its about psi power..

Technically it was a sled..and to add to what grayghost said, Reed was able to use it to penetrate a time bubble created by Galactus that even Kang couldn't get through.

As for the question..Reed could also just create this again.

Okay what? Did Professor X also explain how the neurons in your brain that carry the brain waves move faster than light?

batman did it with a robot suit.. even though on the same page flash was still moving at super speed before bruce could even finish a sentence

deathstroke did it by anticipating his moves

with pis on your side anything is possible. As well as made up comic science and tech...

If doom is a strong enough telepath(which he isn't btw, our discussion is about speed vs thought) then he would be able.to sense the flash and stop him based on psi power. Jean grey, Nate grey, prof x are all telepaths that could "react" to the flash. Now kingdom come flash and certain other versions of wally could make it much harder

at his full potential he was able to react to the slightest touch. as soon as something felt abnormal he reacted (being shot in the face)

That's pretty much like a human moving the same speed as a slug trying to get the drop on you.

There have been scans of the world around him being a standstill when he is moving full speed. He would have to stand there and let the action play out in slow motion and let it happen to himself

Doom would just siphon the Speedforce off of Flash or drain the power himself or trave lto the Speedforce and funnel that power into himself. He has already done so to several cosmic beings. Reed can use in infinity Stone from anyone of his Illuminati allies and nullify if not outright kill Flash. Problem solved.
