Hire a team to assassinate a president .

You work for a secret service agency , where you're given the very difficult mission of assassinating the president of a country who has immense nuclear ressources that endanger your country .

To do so , you're given the option of picking a team of 9 members , this team should be able to penetrate a highly secured palace , full of FBI agents , Black Ops & Militias , whose leader is Bane .

Rules :

Your team members should have no superpowers , only basic abilities ( martial arts , weapons mastery , powered armors ... ) . Your team should have at least 1 sniper type , 1 computer genius & 1 team captain who'll lead the team .

Your team will have 3 days to prepare .

@justiceway: Cool thread. Just to be clear, would Iron Man or Green Lantern be allowed? Or would their equipment count as superpowers?

Also, could I pick people who ordinarily wouldn't kill, and make them bloodlusted and/or morals off, or do I have to choose only people who would have no problem with killing?

Punisher, Barbara Gordon, Bucky Barnes with no metal arm, Black Widow, Nick Fury, The Spider, Falcon, Jason Todd, Doctor Nemesis.

Bullseye, Green Arrow, Wolverine, X- 23, Nightcrawler, Elektra, Punisher, Domino, and Luke Cage.

6 Imperial Storm Commandos + 3 Shadow Troopers.

I'll elaborate more on their equipment and tactics when I have much more free time.

I think 9 is overkill given what some of these characters can do in comics. A team of 3-4 should be more than enough.

@justiceway: What do you mean count? count as in they are acceptable choices? If so all of them can solo. Green Lanterns definitely also solo. I assume you man don't count though. IE not acceptable choices.

Any decent street leveler can solo this. Punisher, Bullseye, Crossbones,Bane,Batman,Hawkeye,Green Arrow. Pick one.

I guess this takes place at the White House? Or just a heavily guarded area? Either way here's the rundown of what my team is gonna be doing.

Storm Commandos X6

4 of the Commandos(not the snipers) will have Evasive-226-R field disruptors

2 of them will have E-11 sniper rifles, positioned strategically in range of the palace/house

3 of them will have E-11 blaster rifles, one of them being the squad leader will have a MGL-1 micro grenade launcher.

1 will have a Lifeform scanner and a DRK-1 Dark Eye Probe with fragmentation grenade launcher.

The last will have 3 satchel charges and 3 thermal wells should the need arise to breach through a wall quickly and an E-11 rifle.

All of them otherwise, will have standard armor/equipment befitting their station. They will also have combat knives for silent kills.

At the start, the Commandos will first use the probe to get a good indication of where to strike, where the most vulnerable part of the building is. From there, they will infiltrate quietly without a sound due to the sound dampeners they have on their armor, the tech will utilize the Lifeform scanner to find any hostile targets wherever they might be aswell as their objective. As they move, the demo will be placing his satchel charges in strategic hidden locations in setting traps and if need to breaching through any wall using the thermal wells should the team have to.

With all this, they should be able to minimize any encounters due to having the probe and Lifeform scanner already having mapped out a safe route to their objective where they kill the President. Any encounters, will be swiftly dealt with by their stealth capability and weaponry.

Shadow Troopers X3

2 Shadow Troopers will have T-21 light repeaters, as well as concussion grenades.

1 Trooper will have a DLT-19 heavy blaster.

These 3 otherwise will have their standard equipment and armor with their cloaking devices.

Should for whatever reason as the Storm Commandos leave or be close to their objective get compromised. These guys will take the field, having already worked their way into the palace under their cloaking, they will be giving any of the opposition nasty surprises with their sudden appearance and disappearance as they blast their enemies.

In close combat, they also wield vibro gauntlets so should the need arise for H2H, they have a deadly advantage as one hit from a vibroblade is pretty much fatal even a slight tap.

The 2 Storm Commandos with their E-11 snipers will also be providing fire should the mission turn ugly, picking off any targets as the team retreats. The afore mentioned satchel charges will be detonated as needed as the team pulls back, luring any opposition into them as they leave. Anyone who tries touching any of the 4 Storm Commando with the 226-R disruptors for H2H, will instantly be killed or fatally wounded as they also double as a weapon.

Storm Commandos complete their mission.

When in doubt, send in the nuns with guns. Best part? I don't need to pay them anything. Just point and say Heretics.

A squad of nine Battle Sister Celestians led by a Celestian Superior with a really nasty attitude. All have their standard powerarmor and, of course, helmets.

The Celestian Superior has a powersword, stormshield, Inferno pistol, auspex and frag/krak/melta grenades.

Four Celestians with storm bolters, bolter pistols, chainswords and frag/krak grenades

One Celestian with a Heavy Flamer, bolter pistol and frag/krak grenades.

One Celestian with a Heavy Bolter, bolter pistol and frag/krak grenades.

Two Celestians with Multi-Meltas (Ha, who needs a 'tech expert' when you can melt the bunker?), bolter pistols and frag/krak grenades.

If truly desired, you can replace a stormbolter celestian for a techpriest and another of your choosing with a Vindicare Assassin. Makes no difference.
