Description: Taking down a top-class demon like Naraku is no easy feat, but Hiei made it look easy. The ever-stylish demonic swordsman has been on quite a roll... First, however, he must overcome a challenge far greater than anything he has experienced in the tournament thus far: Uchiha Itachi, notorious antagonist of the Naruto world. He shall present a fine challenge, but Hiei has every intention of walking away from this match with the victory. His control over the elements of fire and ice give him a wide array of offensive options as well as a resistance to extreme heat and cold. He can cover his sword with dark flames with the Ensatu Ken technique, fire off blasts of demonic fire with Flare Burst, engulf his fists with fire with his Fist of the Mortal Flames technique, and a whole lot more. He can also uncover his Jagan Eye to grant himself a boost in strength and speed, and if things get desperate, he can infuse himself with the power of a demonic dragon with the ultra-powerful Dragon of the Darkness Flame technique. Plus, his blazing speed means he should have no trouble slipping past Itachi's illusions and striking the elusive ninja down. The time has come for Hiei to ascend to the tournament.

Description: When are people going to realize that it is futile to challenge Itachi? The S-class ninja is nigh unstoppable with his dreaded Tsukiyomi technique, an ability that allows him to subject his opponent to an eternity of agony simply by making eye contact. But even then, he doesn't even need that technique to win his matches; just take a look at his last two victories for proof. No, Itachi's bag of tricks is far more extensive, and his true strength has only just begun to emerge. Of course, we can't forget about his ever-present illusion techniques: he can create so many copies of himself and move so quickly throughout the battlefield that his foes have absolutely no way of knowing where Itachi is going to strike next. Hiei is fast, but he is certainly not fast enough to catch the agile ninja. No, Itachi is clearly the faster of the two, which gives him the obvious edge. Itachi is looking for more than just a victory here... By annihilating the very capable Hiei, Itachi will demonstrate to everyone else just how powerful he truly is. Soon enough, he shall grace the tournament with his presence for an unprecedented third time in a row.
Who wins?)))
