• Classic Hercules and Current Thing(Versions)
• Win by K.O. only
• Both unarmed
• Starting distance: 5 feet(and both are on the top of the building)
• Thing is aware of the surrounding environment but Hercules isn't(first time being at the tower)

The Thing's strength level: 80-85 tons

Hercules' strength level: 100 +

Hercules also has more skill.

So due to all this, Hercules wins! :D

You might want to modify the conditions and location. Maybe have it at the Fantastic Four tower, since Hercules has already established himself as Thing's superior, maybe the battle taking place on Ben's turf will make the outcome more interesting.

They fought before. IIRC the thing put up a fight. All though I haven't seen the fight in a while.

Pretty sure Grimm is 100+ tonner these days. Also, since when does Hercules have powers again? Last I saw he was getting stomped by Sebastian Shaw in Avengers Academy and that was fairly recent.

Just to point out, Grimm is a hundred tonner easily these days, marvel are just to lazy to update their handbook. That being said, Herc wins.

They met in that one issue of Thing written by Slott IIRC. Thing can hang, but Hecules is stronger and a wrestler. He wins.

Herc has better H2H skills and is 100+ tonner.

Thing is 80 tonner.

Herc wins.

Herc is just better in everything. He really shouldn't have a huge problem with the Thing.

But you have to love the way Ben never stops fighting. The guy simply won't quit.

What if the battle is drawn out, would Thing have much of a chance then?

thing is now acknowledged class 100 with feats of lifting thousands of tons and has given herc a tough time before.

the scan was a friendly wrestling match where herc cheap shotted ben in the nuts and was interrupted before a winner the match was over.

and he has stalemated herc in the past the thing and herc fought 3 times to my knowledge and 2 of them herc appeared to have the upper hand but both fights were far from over and the third was a true stalemate.

Hercules, easily.

@comic_book_fan: Hercules has dealt with much worse than Thing. He outclasses him heavily in strength, skill, and durability. Thing is been pretty fodder lately.

I call this a stalemate, the thing fought the silver surfer and a cosmically powered doom.

he has stated that he is strong enough, to tear through a battle ship like it was a banana peel. Hercules wins but not that easily.....
