I'm not entirely sure of Shazam's strength level because it needs to be pretty damn high to hurt Herc.

Shazam = Strength of Hercules + 5 More GODS.

But i dont think they are following this in New 52.

CM has strength of Herc and a bunch of other stuffs.

If it is current versions then Shazam wins, because Herc is currently depowered, unfortunately. Also the picture of Herc that the op is showing is that of "Chaos War" Hercules, who uber stomps Shazam (any version). Also, for those noting this, Shazam has the abilities and powers of 6 DC Olympian Gods. Marvel's Hercules, when fully powered, was stronger.

In New 52 Shazam doesn't have powers derivated from the Greek Gods,but by the last living member of the Circle of Eternity who chose Billy to be the next champion of magic. He did not suffer many changes in his powers, but currently he no longer has the wisdom of Solomon.

Current Shazam's powers:

• Superhuman Strength
• Superhuman Speed
• Superhuman durability/invulnerability
• Teleportation
• Flight
• Electrokinesis
• Power Distribuition (but he doesn't get weak)
• Magic (he can cast spells and enchantments)

New-52 Shazam has nothing I've seen that would suggest he could take down Herc. Who's clashed with Gods and Skyfathers for fun.

We do not know Shazam or Captain Marvel power levels in 52.

However Cap has always been more powerful than the gods because he has all of their abilities combined. Let me just remind folks that Captain Marvel was a character created by a company (Fawcett) that competed with Timely (Marvel) and National (DC)>
He was the big dog in his universe/company and had Superman chasing him and his popularity so badly they had to use lawyers.Even artist in the 70/90s who would have been kids at the time of his creation gave him his respect. Not so much these days but folks needs to stop reconning his power levels down. He was up there creating the guide ruler that PreCrisis Superman was measured by.

Shazam has strength of Hercules but not only that he has power of Chief god Zeus. Hercules better chance at arm wrestling contest but not fight. Shazam powered by Rock of Eternity now so even more power coming.
