You know what...it would really suck if he came back from that and his spikes or body became adamantium. Although, if that ever happened he would be easy pickings for Magneto. lol
Hercules should win. He has enough Strength to engage Doomsday in combat, and the Lion Skin will give him a huge Durability advantage. Doomsday is powerful, he's took on Skyfather Gods, JLA, Darkseid, etc. But in all honesty, he is just a Plot Device. Hercules Strength is probably equal to Thor, and Hercules has enough Fighting Skill to take on Doomsday. This will be a long battle, Doomsday withstood the attack of 20 Kryptonians Heat Vision (Though he did get stomped), he took hits from Wonder Woman without too much harm, and he's ripped apart Plastic Man. Doomsday also adapts, but he was never classified to be immune to physical harm, so Hercules should take him. He does have Durability, but not enough. Doomsday is not unstoppable, so all in all, after a tough battle. Hercules takes it.

This isn't depowered Hercules...... Hercules is a Better Fighter, he can use the Mace effectivley,
but hes alot weaker and cant fly and cant adapt like doomsday hes at a disadvantage as this doomsday would be smart enough to rip the lion skin of and seperate the weapon from hercules or just punch him to orbit

Hmm, "supposed to be doesn't mean it is." Well that can be said/stated regarding any of these characters and they're respective abilities. So I guess, using your logic, I can simply state Hercules gives Doomsday a beating so severe he can't regenerate or adapt; he dies and that's it for Doomsday. But the flaw in using your logic is stating it doesn't mean it's true.

Classic Herc has shown feats of strength equaling, nay, even surpassing (foresooth!) those of the Mighty Thunder God.
Nemean skin = invulnerable to physical harm.
Mace = "I smite thee villain!!"
No Kryptonian has the hand to hand of the Champion of Olympus, son of Zeus himself!! Hercules is a Superman with thousands upon thousands of years of hand to hand combat... flying supersonic speeds doesn't mean crap (doesn't hurt, but it ain't a deal breaker) when squaring off with DD. Who needs heat vision when you have a herkulean haymaker?
Ya, I can see many a reason to write Herc taking the big cheeze down. (BTW, Herc can toss DD into orbit just as easily as the reverse...)
