lol! Yeah, I see what you mean. Myself? I always kinda liked the way Erik Larsen seemed to combine elements of Marvel Hercules and DC Hercules (the version Walt Simonson drew for the Hercules 'Who's Who in the DC Universe' bio).

It does kinda look like 'em, doesn't it? The boots also look almost exactly like the ones Simonson drew on DC Hercules for his bio page in 'Who's Who?'

Nothing too extensive for Herakles as far as I know, but I once saw him get both of his arms ripped right off by a character called Zeke who was/is a descendant of the Titan Atlas.

Image Herakles has shown neither strength nor durability feats at the same levels of Marvel's Hercules. As for fighting skills, Herakles did show skill in his battles with Savage Dragon (and other beings in nthat same comic) but I don't think he displayed much to put his skills above those of Hercules.
