I haven't read Greek Mythology in a long time but i remember Hercules lifting either the Earth or the Heavens (i forget) so is it possible he could be stronger than the hulk?

Heracles was an ACTUAL God, after his ascension to Olympus. Hulk is a mortal, and could not conceivably defeat him. He can not be damaged physically, as he is a god.

Atlas tricked Hercules into taking his place, holding up the heavens, and then Hercules tricked Atlas into taking his post back.

Atlas didn't trick Hercules. Hercules offered to bear the weight if Atlas would retrieve Hesperides' apples for him. Atlas agreed, but when got back he decided to let Herc keep holding up the heavens. Hercules then tricked Atlas into taking the weight on himself again.

I know, but for sure it weighed a lot. And to add some more Heracles feats, his strength intimidated Hades, when Heracles was still mortal, he beat the something Lion as one of his labors, the Lion being near invulnerable, and I'll have to go think of some more.

Lots of feats of strength, and I think that's pretty much it. But that's pretty much all WWH is capable of as well.

Herc is probably stronger, but he's portrayed as being slightly insane and functionally retarded. WWH on the other hand is a super-genius and I think would be able to either trick or generaly outsmart poor silly Herc.
