actually hellboy had some pretty good agility/reflexes feats, I mean with those big right arm he got, he's pretty fast at tagging a fly.

Hellboy is also good at hand to hand hence he admit that he has a lousy shot so he prefer hand2hand and he is a good swordsman by the way, ( h2h feats from Hellboy 2 and comics )

Dude Hellboy is basically Immortal. and those adamantium claws aren't gonna work on his stone arm.

Yeah, i'm no Hellboy expert, but I think he's being a tad underrated here, I don't think the fight would be a total stomp in Howlett's favor or anything. I could see Wolverine winning, but it would be a good fight, and if Wolverine gets hit with Hellboy's huge revolver, he's gonna be hurtin'.

I agree from what I've seen of hellboy ... I would be impressed if someone could provide scans to put him ABOVE wolverine. I definitely think hellboy would put up a good fight but wolverine gets the win here. And I do believe hellboy is fast/agile enough to tag wolverine. He is also durable enough to make this one heck of a fight.

Wolverine doesn't need to the cut the stone hand but he can sure as hell sever his arm.

Wolverine would win.

Does any one here actually read Hellboy or is everyone just going off the movie?

@eatmore_payless: I dont know much about Comics Hellboy but in the previous hellboy wolverine thread its was acknowledged that had a more than a decent speed advantage over HB and in that thread the general consensus for wolverine.

Hellboy would win he could block wolverines attacks with the stone hand and dodge them, and tank them as well, HB is stronger than wolverine as well im pretty sure, and if doesnt kill him he will KO him ,oh wait hes bloodlusted yeah wolverine doesnt stand a chance.

Since when is Hellboy slow? I think people are forgetting he is at least a Class 25+ in terms of strength. That "huge stone hand" of his he has to lug around, is weightless to him. Also, his standard gear could very much include a sword. One good hit from Hellboy and he's going down for the KO. Add in that sword and he's really in trouble here.

This could block any of Wolverine's attacks and a hit from it is going to cause a lot of damage. Even Wolverine is susceptible to KO. Over and above this you add Hellboy's strength and agility, and you have someone to be reckoned with.

Wolverine for the win. Hellboy's got great strength, skill, and durability, so it won't be a one-way win, but Wolverine has the edge in speed and skill and healing.

Frog Monster, Kroenen, Thunder/Lightning, Gruagach, and many of the Jahad in general were superhuman all around, and Hellboy handled them using strength, speed, and agility.

He's just indestructible. He's about as strong as Captain America. Hellboy on the other hand would be closer to Luke Cage or maybe even as high as She Hulk in terms of strength.

Hellboy is also an expert in hand to hand, and an amazing swordsman. He's also not exactly a slouch in terms of speed. People think because he's big that he's not agile, or fast. But realistically, he's still a full blooded demon, and he's still superhuman all around, which does include speed. Over and above this he does have that big gun in his arsenal. That might not kill Wolverine, but it sure as heck can slow him down.

Finally, Hellboy does have a healing factor. It's not Wolverine's level, but he can recover from severe injuries in less than a day.

@Floopay: Exactly why I say it's not a 1-minute match. I personally love Hellboy, but I think Wolverine takes this 7/10. The way I see it, eventually you have two guys cutting into each other...and unfortunately, one of those guys heals a lot faster than the other.

Hell Boy tosses Wolverine in hell and Wolverine turns into Kratos.
