Hei Runs the Gauntlet (DC/Marvel)

Everyone seems to be jumping on this Anime vs. Comic bandwagon, and I haven't made a gauntlet in awhile. So here we go.

Hei

Expert in Hand to Hand Combat

Brilliant Strategist

Equipment:

6 Knives

Metal Wire

Mask - Offers some protection, has been destroyed before

Black Coat - Bullet Proof, has been penetrated before

Battle Conditions

• Hei is fully healed and rested between rounds
• He and his opponents are given a briefing about each other, and get 1 hour prep time.
• Nothing outside of standard equipment for either him or his opponents.
• Assume it's best out of 10 matches, he stops at whichever one he dips below the 5/10 point.

2. Round 2 - Jason Todd (Red Hood)
3. Round 3 - Frank Castle (Punisher MAX)
4. Round 4 - Bruce Wayne (Batman)
5. Round 5 - Matt Murdock (Daredevil)
6. Round 6 - Mary Walker (Typhoid Mary)
7. Round 7 - Cassandra Cain (Batgirl)
8. Round 8 - Tomi Shishidio (The Gorgon)

From the Showings I seen in Tourneys with ya he could...

1) Hard Fight

2) Slightly Hard Fight

3) Not too hard but with 1 hour Prep makes for some major hassel for Hei in Traps and Fire Plans.

4) Ooooooooooouch ... either way

5) Hard Fight

6) Never seen her battle

7) Might go either way

8) Again might go either way.

So all in all he would stop either at 4, 7, and 8.

Curious as to why you think he can take Daredevil but not Batman.

@Floopay: Are you one of those people who puts DD above Bruce? And why is Red Hood above Grayson? (gray with an 'a', by the way [rhyming!])

Anyway, from what I've seen of Hei, I'd say he takes

1) 6/10 (Grayson's agility is largely negated against Hei's, but his skill and gadgets will let him do some damage. He's totally insulated against electricity, so that's an advantage for him, too.)

2) 7/10 (Hood's h2h skill and agility is lower than Grayson's, and his guns shouldn't give Hei any problems.)

3) 8/10 (Frank's h2h skill is lower than Hood's, although he has better marksmanship feats. I see him shooting down Hei a few times, but not often.)

4) 4/10 (Durability, gadgets, and sheer h2h dominance should give Bats a majority here.)

5) 6/10 (DD is essentially Nightwing in this matchup. A little more skilled, perhaps, but doesn't have the suit and gadget advantage. He won't do any better than Dick.)

6) 5/10 (I know almost nothing of Typhoid Mary, read like one debate with her in it.)

7) 3/10 (Cass is too fast and too good in h2h for Hei to take many matches from.)

8 1/10 (Being generous. Gorgon's speed, HF, skill, stone stare, TP, and ruthlessness make him pretty much unbeatable by street-levelers. I can see him sweeping.)

Mostly because of the range advantage and the insulation in Bruce's Suit.I personally think that in H2H Matt would take the majority over Hei but his power gives him a huge advantage up close especially.

TBF it is dependent on which personality and if she can use her powers.Iv seen Mary reduce people to ash with nothing more than a thought before.Ill see if i can find the occasion

In H2H she is the worst person here by far but since Hei has powers as well i dont see why Mary wouldn't.

I personally would give her a sweep in ten fights same as Gorgan

I love Hei (great show) but he probably wont make it that far here.

They're very different characters, but as far as fighting Hei, they're both extremely agile fighters who'll prefer to dodge rather than block, but who have stick weapons to block with. Grayson's electrical attacks won't be effective against Hei, but neither will Hei's be against Nightwing. I see DD's superior skill, specifically nerve strikes, making up for Grayson's durability advantage against Hei's power. Matt and Dick are similar combatants in general.

I think DD is a greater martial artist than Batman, but I believe Batman is a greater fighter. Put Hood above Greyson because of Firearms and a more lethal arsenal.

Mary is also a pretty good swordsman, and Taskmaster trumped her once before (not saying that's a sleight against her, the guy is insane).
