I Only know what The wiki has told me about heatwave, and what i Saw In the JL cartoon so forgive me if i'm missing something. But assuming he Is the average human with A fire gun, Spiderman should be far too Maneuverable To get hit by heatwave. The Environment is a bridge, and that Leaves a Lot of open space for spidey to swing around. Spiderman Should be able to get close enough to him to disarm him. And then it will Be over.

What's the bridge made out of?  How large are we talking about?  How far apart do they start?  Is leaving the bridge considered a loss?

I ask these questions because while Heatwave is pretty good and his suit gives him slightly enhanced durability and if he actually tagged Spidey, he'd be dead in a hurry, I just don't see Mick hitting Pete more often then not.

If the bridge is flamable and Spider-Man isn't allowed to leave it without forfeiting, Heat Wave just sets the whole thing on fire.  He's fireproof.  Spider-Man isn't.  Otherwise, Spider-Man will probably win.

Think of the bridge at the end of the first Spiderman movie, that one

Like Rein, all I know about Heatwave is what I just read from his bio page, but he doesn't strike me as even being a powerful enough villian to fight silver age Spider-Man (who had trouble with the likes of Vulture and pre-upgrade Hammerhead). He's just a dude with a flame gun. Spider-Man has sparred with the Human Torch.

Oh Heat Wave would demolish either Vulture or Hammerhead, provided Vulture doesn't use his patented loop de loop throw in a water tower move.

He's just not gonna beat Spider-Man.

I think Spidey can kill many of the Flash rogues, they are slow enough for Spidey to take them out with his speed

Mick's fires are hot enough to melt the Flash's boots, no way is Spiderman surviving that. If Spiderman manages hits Heat Wave first Mick is out for the count, but I don't see that happening.

Heatwave feats:

Reacts to Captain Boomerang's projectile. Dodges a bullet. Gun has a quick reload system(specifically to deal with fast opponents). Ignites a volcano.

Burns Tar Pit. Proves resistant/resilient to all manner of heat, from his own, to energy-beams(as well as the ability to absorb and redirect it, to a degree), Pyra, and Rip Jak.

Nails Barry Allen with a wall of air. Melts a Black Lantern Corps ring. Destroys a bus.

Hits a running Wally West. Melts a Zoom empowered Inertia's boots.

If Spider-Man tries blocking flames with webs he'll die because Heat Wave would burn through webs instantly. Otherwise, I don't think Heat Wave's reflexes and accuracy are developed enough to state he can tag Spider-Man before getting hit.
