thor doesn't have the speed to keep up with he man, everything else should be about even imo, unless he man has the combined sword then thor would be in big trouble otherwise i give to he man in a hard fought battle
He-Mans level of strength is in the Megaton range just like Superman. Thor is one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel universe but he pushes the 250/300 ton mark with the Odin Force. He-Mans Strength is in a class DC scale which is way overpowered.

@ThaMessenger07:
Thor has lifted far more than than 300 tons. Marvel just puts out 100 class strength. Thor has hurled the Odinsword that has incaluable weight & broken the arm of a Celestial. Not to mention the warrior madness factor that will increase his strength ten times when pressed in combat. Thor is more durable as in the Seige story line, he took energy burst from multiple opponents point blank range & shrugged them off like they were almost nothing.
"The power of Greyskull will make He-man immune to Thor's power making this a fist fight. "
@NightFang:
I'm picking Asgardian Magic over the Power of Grayskull. I'd like to see He-Man resist the powerful lightning attacks that Thor unleashes. Also, Thor has battled for months at a time versus the likes of Marvels Zeus & I believe his stamina to be far greater than He-Man"s

Thor's strength is up there along with Superman's. Marvel just stops rating after the 100 ton mark for simplicity.
@ThanosIsMad: Agreed! I saw that comic! If Superman said to himself he must face He man and that he could possibly die! He man took on the Godlike Superman, so Thor would be fair game!
And as far as i know He-man hasn't been de-powered since the crises, his powers remain the same! He-Man is one of few out side of Marvel that could either stalemate or beat Thor!
If his power is still the same as when he fought Pre Crises Superman then he beats Thor! Thor would have to go Odin Force to beat that He-Man!
I'll take Thor,the one who has beaten people as or more powerful than him. He-Man has NEVER battled anyone as imposing as him. (That Superman issue is in it's own universe & shouldn't be taken seriously)

@Warcry80: are we talking he-man the comic? All I know of he-man is the animated series & now that I'm an adult, I'm not immpressed when compared to the feats of Thor.
Is this the case where issues such as this shouldn't be taken seriously, like Wolverine defeating Lobo? Just because it's printed doesn't make it so.
"@Surge2477: It was published by DC and he held his own against Pre-Crisis Superman. I'm going by comic book versions btw.
"
@Jake Fury:
Okay. STILL not going to base one battle versus superman (looks like a publicity stunt because he man was so popular).
Thor's high end feats of strength trump those of He-Man when all factors are considered. Thor also has his powers of the elements, he's a much better fighter, & has more durability then He-Man has shown thus far. besides, he has the long range attack with mjolnr.'
rolling with Thor via warrior maddness & he breaks the neck of he-man sentry style
@Surge2477: Fair enough. He-Man definitely doesn't have the feats of Thor. I was half-heartedly joking when I picked He-Man. I do think it'd be one heckuva battle.
Hmmmm..surely a new He-Man comic would want to be picked up by one of the Big 2.....

Er, no it's not. It took place in the main Superman storyline. On that note, He-Man crushes Thor. Going toe to toe with Silver Age "I can move a galaxy full of planets just by dragging them behind me on a chain" Superman trumps anything and everything that Thor has ever done.
@Lance Uppercut: so were basing this battle on he-man's one appearance during battle with superman? has he-man ever moved a planet? or even destroyed a planet when he went insane as he did when fighting beta ray bill? I must admit I've never read any comics with He-man. Just the cheesey cartoon from the 80's.
I'm still going with Thor, better fighter, far greater durability, better attacks.
