Hawkman vs Mr. Fantastic

Hawkman is deranged after being transported to the Marvel Universe. Dr. Doom intercepts Hawkman and promises to send him back for a favor. Hawkman is told that if he wants to go back, he must assassinate Reed Richards (who is giving a lecture at Harvard University). Hawkman obliges, but can only use his innate strength, flight and the Claw of Horus.

Can Hawkman (current version) whack Reed Richards?

Dang, I don't know the current HM, but I think Reed could stop the pre-52 one.

New 52 Hawkman loses pretty badly. Pre 52 Hawkman would take it.

really? i thought he got powered up, he has better regeneration, can morph his nth metal, and aparently so kind of fire powers to

@AllStarSuperman: But he is alot weaker, he was easily taken down by Deathstroke (who is a high end street level character but Reed has more than enough power to put him down. Pre-52 Hawkman had gear such as the claws of Horus, that could hurt Superman.

@AllStarSuperman: He is still a 5 tonner at best. His beat feat so far would probably be tearing the steel door off of the side of a plane, mid-flight.
