He shoots a nuke arrow or two drops some explosives here and there for interference and damage. Shoots a good number of them with regular arrows, saves 1 or two arrows to finish them off in h2h.

In all honesty if lions are bloodlusted and don't care about loud sounds, Hawkeye won't survive this battle.

the lions cover the distance of 300 feet in a little over 4 seconds at top speed how many arrows can hawkeye fire before he is swarmed determines his potential for victory.

@lukehero: The arena should be large enough, if it can hold 100 lions, and his arrows to throw out enough of a concussive force/shrapnel to destroy an arena. It should wound enough of the lions though to inhibit a number of them from attacking him at full potential.

@zeroplus: that depends on what kind of arrows he uses. i dought he uses the one at a time kind of arrows.

Large, OK. If he is making shrapnel he steal has to worry about it hitting himself & collapsing the arena on top of him. It's not gonna take much from comicbook explosions to collapse the arena on him. He fires those explosive Arrows of his & he is going to die right along with the lions. Hell stadiums/arenas have collapsed because there is too much snow on the roof or because there are too many people in the stands, that's a lot less force than a comicbook explosion.

As far as shrapnel taking out some of the lions, only if it hits them in the face(the eyes or down the throat in the mouth), besides that a Lion can tank a bullet from an extremely high caliber rifle, so some shrapnel isn't going to take them down.

Notice how the lion is only dazed a little bit from the first shot & then gets back up and keeps fighting. Also by the way, lions max travel speed is 50mph...so a bunch of angry lions will be blitzing him & surrendering him.

@lukehero: I didn't say Hawkeye can win. With his accuracy he will kill a number of them before they reach him especially with the nuke arrow and explosives. Btw the nuke arrow is a clean fusion device it only destroys anything within a 15-20 ft. radius. It won't drop the arena down on him.

The force of the blast would bring some major damage to the arena, and he would have to be extremely careful, all in all. It's a terrible idea.

He can't do this in a arena... Not even Captain America can imo. He'd need a better terrain.

in character Hawkeye has numorus trickarrows. is ther any others he could use in this fight? Ive also seen Hawkeye shoot up to six arrows at once. which arrows used this way could help him win. What strategy would Hawkeye use in this fight.

I see thers a little confusion about the arena. I imagined it like an oldschool topless gladiators arena. explosive arrows can be used.

@69ball-z-deep: if we assume Hawkeye shoots 6 arrows at once he still only able to kill 36 at most leaving 64 lions to finish him off.

as for explosive arrows I highly doubt 100 lions would be all crowded together in one spot. when they start running some will run faster than others and the pacing and spacing between them becomes evident. I know you said 300 feet apart but they could be in a 300 feet radius from him. Lions covering 300 feet in 4 seconds is dangerous for Clint and there's no guarantee every shot would kill one that easily. Lions do tackle dangerous prey so its not that easy to kill one as you may believe.

so masterkungfu has brought the kill count up to 36. what stratigies and arrows could be used to increase the number further.

@otakuemperor: im starting to think Hawkeye can win this. one thing i think people are forgetting here is Hawkeyes ability to make them hesitate. And with being a team leader and master stratigist he'll think of everything before going down. example: lets say HE sorta makes a perimeter by fireing off 3-4 shots of 7 explosive arrows off at the same time. your welcome to disagree but i think the lions would stop. when this happens (which probably kills about 25-30 lions at the same time) Hawkeye knowing he has limited arrows would rain death on them using arrows that incapacitate (like gas arrows)or kill groups while the lions are still trying to figure out what the hell just happend. during this time i see HE sitting up a perimeter of proximity arrows(explosive, electric, arrows with high pitch frequency that animals cant stand etc...) after that more explosive and gas arrows should take out the rest. What diffrent Trickarrows and stratgies can u think of.

even he can't shoot 100 arrows at once . at best he'll take 20 of them.

The Pym Particle arrows can kill many lions at a time I would say:

Followed up by a series of explosive and sonic arrows I think hawkeye takes this.

EDIT: Just noticed the points countering the explosive arrow but even so hawkeye has many trick arrows which should give him the win.

What kind of gas? If it's simply tear gas, that's not gonna cut it. Also even if it is an open arena, explosive arrows is still a really bad idea, it still creates shrapnel, which even he can't predict...and he could still collapse a side wall of the arena on top of himself from the force of multiple explosions.

@jashro44: What are his arrows tipped with? Because lions can tank standard bullets and it takes extremely high powered rifles to take them down.

@lukehero: I am not sure but if you look closely at the scan it appears some of the arrows are going into the metal parts of the motor bikes as well.

So he should be able to kill the lions pretty easily IMO.

• Tear Gas isn't at all that powerful...
• How many arrows can a Quiver hold? 80 I think? If I count the holes inside of the Quiver posted, it looks to be only about 30-35 spots for Arrows..Hmmm.
• Sonic Arrows would hurt the Lions a lot due to their incredible sense of hearing, but it only last for a 2 sec burst as described in the scan.
• Also does he always carry Pym Particle arrows or did he just have them for that mission? Has he ever been shown using Pym Particle arrows outside of that?
• Electric Arrows would work, Putty Arrows would work well, Net Arrows seem like a great idea, Cable Arrows if he can angle it the right way would help, but if he fires that Rocket Arrow or Explosive Arrow, he's going to create problems for himself.
• Just looked at the scan, it says his Quiver only holds 36 Arrows...that's not a lot at all...Lions still win.
• The arrows are pretty awesome, not seeing how he wins with only 36 arrows even if they are awesome. If he actually take all of his standard arrows like about 14-16 different types, then divide that by 36...he only has what 2 of each maybe? Unless he were to do some prep work before a battle and pick out which arrows he really needs, but he doesn't have any prep here.
