The other thing is that Cyclops is much better at using his powers tactically, ie aim a blast at the ground to kick up a dust storm for cover. Not to mention the fact that he's much better at controlling his temper and keeping a cool head.

No he doesn't have more raw power, he can just absorb more energy. He can only do that with a powerful source, though. Cyclops doesn't need to hit him with a blast directly, or at all.

The shields are unnecessary. Cyclops can't hurt Havok with his powers and vice versa. It would only come down to H2H combat, and based on showings, Cyclops is the better fighter.

Cosmic energProxy-Connection: keep-alive Cache-Control: max-age=0 20included cosmic microwave background radiation and many other forms of radiation, which Cyclops can not absorb, otherwise Cyclops would have been able to defeat Vulcan himself. Cyclops can't defeat Vulcan because because Vulcan can control his Optic Beams. It has nothing to do with energy output, it has to do with a plot device to make Havok the star of his own series.

From what I can recall, Cyclops doesn't have to recharge. Havok does.
