Who commands the most energy between the two?

I know if Scot is able to cut loose he is able to do extreme amounts of damage. But I have to wonder how much energy can you possibly be able to expel through your eye sockets? You'd have to figure he'd blast his head off lol

While Havok seems to be able to generate and release energy through his entire body and channels it through his hands

Havok seems to be the heavyweight in day to day usage, since Cyke is often holding back his energy, Alex seems to have better control of his

But I have to wonder, which Summers brother has more firepower ( Vulcan is not included in this discussion, thanks)

So does Vulcan. The only reason Vulcan can beat Cyclops because he has other physical abilties that do work on Cyclops.

I dont think you guys are giving Havok the credit he deserves. I'm not fanboying this thing either. Havok was trained by Wolverine in combat. Although I think Cyclops is more of a seasoned Havok has one thing the Cyclops doesn't, Havok will take the extra step and kill Cyclops. He was going to do it with Vulcan but he didn't only to save his team.

1.Being trained by Wolverine doesn't put you on Cyclops's level of fighting skill and tactical genius..because he's beaten Wolverine in combat.

2.I doubt Havok could kill Cyclops even if he was willing too.

Well someone said Havok wins by far and that's not even close to true.Even if Havok were to beat Cyclops (which he can't)..it will by no means be easy for him.

In a hand to hand fight Cyclops wins I can't take that away from him but if there powers worked against each other I really can't see how Havok would lose

The key for each one's defeat from their hands lie on their environment and speed of attack.

Havok may have the advantage of hurling massive and large scale attacks but Cyclops comes in with a much bigger brain and training that his impulsive brother so... Cyclops gets this fight.

How many people even read the op? I said "Havok, by far" because he commands far more energy. This is due to him absorbing cosmic radiation while Cyclops only absorbs solar energy. READ THE THREAD.

Cyclop's has more power, the guy can shot through mountains, Im not sure Havok could even though he obviously has better control where as Cyclops has to wear the visor. And Havok can radiate the energies around his body where Cyclops can only expell his energies through his eyes. But he does have the greater strength. Trust me, I know.

It takes Havok's body about 16.5 hours to recharge to its peak level. The act of concentration involved in releasing his energy in anything other than an omnidirectional wave is physically exhausting for Havok if he continues it over an extended period of time.

Cyclops needs to recharge through exposure to sunlight.

The thing that works for havok is that his powers are better controlled than Cyclops' abilities are and can be used in more varied ways. While their strength in their powers are identical (which havok and others have admitted to) Cyclops has the edge in tactical genius and combat ability.

For whoever said Cyclops isn't willing to kill I think you should look like X-force and other current X-men comics as he has shown he will kill if he has too.

Sinister was special circumstances and more than a little plot-driven. Could Cyclops kill Purifier grunts like the rest of X-Force have been doing? I think not. He may kill (that scan seems wildly out of character for him, though. Was it after he merged with Apocalypse?) but he's no killer.
