Harry Potter vs. Percy Jackson
The Demigod... Demigod>Wizard, almost always. Plus Harry is not a true Wizard... He uses a FU*KING WAND! for crying out loud... Jesus Christ was more of a Wizard then Harry Potter... "Look I have one fish, oh did I say one... I meant a thousand BOOOSH!" Now that's magic... Steven Strange is a real Wizard, the only Wizard that Harry Potter is more of a Wizard than is the Wizard from Oz... "Pay not attention to the old fart behind the curtain!"
hmm, i vote for percy. A) he can heal himself using water. B) he can manipulate water to do whatever he wants, like make a freaking trident.
Percy has far superior physical stats and is not reliant on a wand for his powers.
Any melee situation means a Percy stomp. Potter might be able to throw some interesting spells his way, things Percy might not know how to counter, but Harry usually sticks with his signature spell which just pushes a person, or disarms them.
Percy ought to win this. In adition, percy has greater potential for power than Harry, both at max skill.
Percy wins, he has bullet time reflexes as seen in the 3rd book when he deflected machine gun fire with he's sword like wonder woman does with her bracelets, superior strength (ripping a minotaurs horn off easily, holding up the weight of the sky for 5 minutes which was more willpower than strength) which is increased when around water, durabilty (tanked a tree ripped out of the ground and thrown at him by a cyclops and came back for more as well as been submerged in lava and survived been inside a volcanic blast and falls from great heights), also enchanced speed and vast water control (creating hurricanes, tsunamis, walking on water, shrugging off great pressure) and earth (creating earthquakes) ans super human stamina. plus he in completely invulnerable to all physical and most mystical harm, diseases etc except for a small spot on he's back opposite to he's belly button and as small as it. He also has great battle exprience and reflexes as seen when he stalemated Ares, Kronos, defeated Hyperion, slayed the minotaur twice, slayed a fury, helped defeat a cyclops, survived transmutation by cicre.
potter has lower than average strength, durabilty, speed and stamina.
Definitely Percy. As was said, he's invulnerable, and could most likely kill Harry with ease. Granted, this is more difficult or easier based on the location. Still, Percy's faster, stronger, and more skilled in combat than Harry. Harry may have learned some Defense Against the Dark Arts, but for this fight he's going to be wanting something more along the lines of 'How not to get your a** kicked 101'. Which he doesn't. So he loses.
Location? How much water is Percy near?
Morals? is morals on or off? cause Harry could use sectumsempra, the Imperius curse to control Percy, not to mention regulars like Stupefy, Pertrificus Totalus, Confringo, which is a powerful blasting cursse, with morals off, a possible Cruciatus curse etc
Current versions? or seen in their last books? if so, Percy is no longer invulnerable
Weapons? Does Percy get any of his magical Items? Riptide for instance? Does Harry get any weapons? His Invisibility cloak? His Firebolt?
There are many variables here and not as clear cut as some make it out to be, however, If I had to just give an answer, I'd say Percy due to better physical stats, but not a stomp by any means (unless they're fighting over an ocean or something)
@voorhees100: Signature weapons only (11-inch stick vs Riptide). If anything else was allowed, then Percy's access to the 12-th Legion Eagle would stomp.
Legion Eagle>Elder Wand.
I've seen a lot of wank, but in Harry Potter threads, it's always "KADAVRA WINZ *insert whoever here* SUX" or "Elder Wand, Unbeatable, shut up the Elder Wand can never be beaten"
I guess the EW>The One Above All?
Percy has significantly higher reflexes than Harry (Bullet Timing, and not just Aim Dodging. He only lifted the blade and reflected the bullet after it was fired) and odds are Riptide can reflect spells (A sword made entirely out of magic materials, plus blessed with magic>A stick with a single magical feather in it). Harry rarely uses the extent of his magic abilities (I can count on one hand the amount of times he uses a spell apart from Expelli-whatever, Stupify, and Reduct-something, while in combat), and the few spells he ever bothers to use are reflectable by Riptide. Combine that with his extremely OP abilities (he blew up a volcano and survived 1. Being doused in magma, 2. Being in the middle of the steam caused by a tsunami hitting a volcano, which would have literally vaporised Harry, and 3. Surviving the couple thousand foot drop that followed (at least high enough that he was worried about Zeus smiting him with a planet-extinction capable lightning bolt)). Just read book 5 (oh yeah, does he have the Achilles Curse. If so, he stomps. Alot).
@opcharybdis: I just spent over a week debating this in another forum. Percy Jackson vs Harry Potter Percy wins no matter what the circumstances. Let's not start this again in another forum. Here's a better variation though: Percy Jackson vs. Harry Potter, Dumbledore, and Voldemort
@oblivionknight: Wassup bro or she whatever no offense pjo way cooler than HP
