Fight takes place in Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Team 1 starts in the griffondor common room, team 2 starts in the slytherin common room. No BFR's allowed, anything goes besides that. Fight to the death who wins and why

@Bane_of_sith: Is this Current Strange? He fails.

I wanted to use characters in their prime. Not weaker strange. Haven't kept up on him lately so let's just say all the characters at their full potential

Then Classic Strange soloes.

Stomp in Team 1's favour.

If this was Classic Strange, then it boils down to Strange vs Doom, and Strange will win. Classic Doom is also powerful, probably second to Strange.

Doom was second in the Sorcerer Supreme competition thing.... Strange was first.

Would they be immune to something like the Havada Cadavera spell?

Not relevant. Easily dodged or countered with another spell. Strange has auto shields on.

Doctor Strange (Classic) has done the following:

Sealing Black Holes

Draining the life force of others instantly

Projecting images through people's minds enough to craze them

Stopping time

Reversing time

Creating Pixies

Controlling said pixies to attack foes

Turning people into crates

Seeing through lies and deception enhanced by magic

Teleporting over extreme distances

Giving inanimate or seemingly lifeless objects human-like or life-like qualities

Changing size to become far larger

Growing and merging with universal concepts

Resurrecting the dead

Saving himself from bodily destruction

Being able to communicate with others via telepathy even when paralyzed

Restoring destroyed universes

Draining so much power that surrounding galaxies are subconsciously destroyed

Cloaking oneself with magic to the extent that you aren't even noticed

Teleporting through dimensions

Twisting and warping others' thoughts

Clouding others' minds completely or partially

Stunning others at will

Keeping them paralyzed until it is desired that they should be free

Both Strange and Doom can generate force field (Strange have auto).

The fact that Doom can is not too relevant, since Doom is on Voldemort's team.

Harry Potter can also use killing curse as well, if he was out of character.

@AngryHulks: I don't know if this is out-of-character. If it is, Dr Strange easily soloes.

I know strange has amazing feats, just wondered if it would be that simple to deflect the most unforgivable curse there is,

#14 Posted by ShootingNova (16348 posts) - - Show Bio

@Bane_of_sith: Yes.

It is powerful, but it have been prove over and over that it can be blocked by physical object, force field included. Even normal human can dodge it also.

Strange solos. Harry is way out of his league here.... Voldemort too. Dr.Doom isn't a threat to Dr. Strange either without prep.

Pretty much.

I think people read too much into the second to Strange thing for Doom. He's good, but he isn't and has never been, remotely close to Classic Strange in magical power.

#19 Posted by ShootingNova (16348 posts) - - Show Bio

@Baldy: I never said anything like that. Really, he's not a threat to Strange at all, and neither is Voldemort. Even putting Harry on their team, Strange soloes.
