Halloween Mid tier Tournament (No Spots Left)

Welcome guys! ssj_god and i will be your hosts for this tourney inspired by sirfizzwhiz's tourney. Your job is to make a team to compete in seek and destroy mission but beware there are creepy and crawly things that will be just around the corner in these battles . So will you kill or be killed? Lets find out.

Im aware we are a little late into the October month for this tourney. However, rest assured we will get this matches up and running as quickly as possible so hopefully this tourney wraps up before Halloween ends.

Stay within the rules as best you can, but do not feel afraid to go wild with your fav horror characters. Of course, some characters will be well above others, so we have a tier system in place so you can pick what you like, and not feel like certain characters are wasted picks. In general this is a mid tier based tourney. Make sure they are within the theme somehow of Halloween. You may have up to 3 characters on your team

Mid tier limit

• Strength limited to 100 tons. This Includes TK like abilities.
• Durability is limited to city block level. Not including Healing.
• Healing factor is limited. You can regenerate from a puddle of blood but thats it
• Intangibility is allowed but will only last 10 seconds and can only be used at 3 minute intervals
• Movement, Combat, and Travel Speeds is limited to mach 10. Reaction Speed is unlimited.
• Energy Attacks limited to an city block level. This includes all forms of Energy, Magic, Psychics, ect attacks.
• Gear must fit above. This includes Armor, Shields, Weapons, ect.

General Rules for all.

• If a character breaks the limits, they may be replaced with a 5 year old kid in a Halloween mask.
• May have 1 summon/duplication that fits the tier of that character but will only be on the field for 30 seconds at 5 minute intervals . This does not apply to real world animals that may be summon by telepathy.
• Telepathy like attacks are allowed, but only one character at a time can be mentally effected.
• Soul based attacks are allowed, but only one character at a time can be soul effected
• Molecule Manipulation limited to weapons or gear of reasonable level.
• Time Manipulation and Reality Warping is not allowed.
• Teleport Killing, Shrink Killing, Internal Telekinesis, and Intangibility Killing is not allowed directly on a character.
• BFR is off.
• All characters are in character.
• Team work isnt a factor but teams with the same morals will work better ofcourse
• Random encounters.
• Be sure to vote on others matches to keep votes going, and matches flowing.

Tasty treats (Perks)

This is the "perks" section. Each team will get up to 10 points to spend on perks.

• Mind protection spell: A witch has enchanted you with a spell. The enemy team cannot use Mental abilities on your team at all. 5 points
• Amulet of Souls: each member of your team gets a amulet that protects your soul from all soul based attacks/abilities from the enemy team (amulets cannot be removed by the enemy unless the enemy team uses mind control) 5 points
• Army of the dead: You get to chose one of the following at the start of every match. 500 Walking Dead Zombies, 500 Resident Evil T-Virus Zombies, or 250 Dawn of the Dead Zombies. 5 points
• We come from space: You get your choice of the following at the start of every match. 8 chitauri leviathans ( Avengers movie), 100 Xenomorph Aliens, or 250 critters. 5 points
• 1 hour prep: 1 hour prep on the battle field (50 foot range from the enemy team) 5 points
• Evil be gone: You get a magical wand that will vanquish 1 evil based character on the enemy team (will not kill a non evil character) from the battle field completely no matter the range on the battle field. The wielder of the wand must see the character they want to use the wand on for it to work. 10 points

I'm skeptical about joining a tournament since I've never done it before but at the same time this looks so fun

@fernandeztimothygian: monsters, demons, ghosts, magic users, darkness/shadow manipulators, serial killers, and ill go ahead accept characters who wear a costume like batman but they have to be scary looking.

@those_eyes: also what constitutes as evil, it is actually a very subjective view that could certainly raise hell in a debate unless it's clearly stated.

Also if two people have that power does it cancel out because realistically it is the only thing to counter as most likely for a Halloween tourney the only ones who are getting in are the evil ones and this would be really OP perk without some sort of counter.

Darkness is Superman level and higher. Man Thing is as powerful as say Thor, or typical Dr. Strange, and proven already greater than Hulk, and king hyperion. Do you know anything about these characters mate?

They are part of a race that invaded earth that includes Monsters, psychopaths (Jasper) and cats that take over the human body with ease (the episode when steven tried to fight the cats possessing his body)..the gems. Let me send you a video to show you how scary these Gems can be :P.

That my friend is how they fit the theme.

@sirfizzwhizz: darkness hurt superman in a crossover but I believe he's also fought evenly with wolverine in another crossover IIRC and man thing I chose last minute and I personally think he was better than my previous choice (Solomon Grundy) but I'm open to better choices if necessary

Darkness feats and abilities are well over Mid Tier, and the limits. Unless your using a first 20 or so comics of Jackie.
