not to be rude, how are these guys gonna harm a full power-ring hal?
Current Iron Man in Hulkbuster and Thor together could, IMHO, give Hal a good fight. As far as strength goes, the Hulkbuster suit was able to hold it's own against WWHulk, although it eventually was taken apart. I think Thor alone could give Hal a pretty good fight. Bucky, Spidey & Clint are all pretty resourceful on the battlefield, altogether, I think they have a chance at beating Hal.
Did I miss a recent issue in which Hal Jordan got a power upgrade and became " The Man" or something cause if not he is not going to defeat Thor let alone the avengers

DC characters all together are massively over rated on this site.
@OmegaRed86: i agree The avengers would stop hal's tiny green ass into the cement. for starters thor is a god. A GOD!!! then ironman with hulk buster armour would take mor than a pwower ring to stop it so easilly. also id like to say that spiderman is a very quick opponent with enahanced senses so i think he would still have a chance. and tony is very smart. i think hal and just about anyother DC charecter is too powerful.
I don't get people here. Some complain that DC sucks because their characters are too overpowered, while others say no one can beat Iceman, Phoenix, Gladiator, Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider, Juggernaut, Hulk, Void etc.
Either way, DC characters are not overpowered in the universe they're in and have enemies that can match them.
Also Marvel has characters that can take Jordan one on one (Surfer, for example), so stop whining.
So it only takes one JLA member to bring down the entier Avengers? The hell with DC and their writers.

Does Hal's current ring have the yellow impurity? If it does, I think Tony could figure out a pretty easy way to exploit that. Even if not, Prometheus once took Kyle out of the picture with "neural chaffe." I would think Tony is smart enough to come up with something similar, he'd just need Thor to buy him a little time.

Has Hal Jordan been powered up? Seriously. I have read every single issue of Geoff Johns' Green Lantern and i am not sure this thread is referring to that Hal Jordan.
Hal couldn't defeat the Shark and the Tattoo man by himself and he's going to beat the Avengers?????
Please, if anyone has any scans of Hal Jordan defeating a Superman level character all by himself, please provide it now.
Hal has been a serious jobber in his own book. I don't see how he can take Thor. If guys like Tattoo man can destroy his constructs, Iron man definitely can.
so, basically it's thor vs hal? i don't think the others have anything that could even annoy hal. even the hulkbuster armor couldn't do much against a full power hal
