I'm not going to be doing Sentry threads for a good while now, they aren't the best of experiences for me. I'm out.

I'm just done with sentry threads.

Hal Jordan after a fight with lots of collateral damage.

I take a hard line against some of Sentry's feats e.g defeating Molecule Man with molecular manipulation, having planetary telepathy and 'stalemating' World War Hulk whilst weakened. Hence I get Sentry experts and fanboys nagging me on why I'm wrong, mostly not always positive debates at that.

Hal has no way to hurt Sentry, and BFR isn't an option.

Whereas Sentry can easily put down Hal.

Hal has never been shown the ability to control both rings simultaneously. It made him lose all his versatility and he has no good blasting/striking feats with both either.

He's weaker with both than with just his green ring.

Shows how little you know about Green Lanterns. Planet busting happens rather often normal ringed GL's. John Stewart is known for being able to replicate entire systems of planets... and he's generally understood to be even with or weaker than Hal.

Both Hal and Kyle have busted planets casually.

So while Sentry wins this, let's not pretend that GL is below Supes and Thor. He's on the same level, it's just that Sentry is above all of them.

Sentry is one of the most inconsistent modern day characters. Well, at least normal one was. Haven't really seen anything with DSS except for his first appearance.

Prior to DSS, he was unaware that it was his molecular manipulation that gave him his powers.

Now that he knows that's the case, he is no longer inconsistent.
