SS is too versatile for Hal, he can't directly drain his ring but his constructs are snacks basically.

Hal has some excellent high end feats which I am sure that people will post here in order to give him the win. But the truth is that Hal's high end feats are out of the ballpark when compared to the level that he has more often demonstrated in the past.

The Silver Surfer still wins in a good fight, and this has been done before...

Im confused. Why is everyone voting for Hal? What can he even do to Surfer? Surfer will just toss a couple of planet busters at him and be on his way.

The DC vs Marvel crossover made it clear that Surfer would smash any green lantern whether it was canon or not. The writers agreed that that would be the mostly likely outcome.

This would be an interesting fight, not a stomp by any means. But Surfer still with more than a slight majority due to superior endurance, matter manipulation, energy output, and versatility. Also, cosmic awareness and his board would be major components to the fight.

Non PIS feats of Hal Pre-52 and New52 on regular showings of ingenuity isn't anywhere close to defeating SS....SS easily breaks his constructs, absorbs his energy attacks, or tanks his hit...Meanwhile Hal is struggling to survive Cosmic blast, being out maneuvered easily, SS wins easily

Just going to point out that it really doesn't matter that GL has unlimited energy because he isn't fast enough to do anything to the Surfer.

The Silver Surfer still wins, in a very good fight.
