I feel like Emma's probably a better trained and experienced hand to hand fighter because of how many times she beats up dudes in her diamond form. Giving it to Emma.

Jean would almost certainly be better trained given the amount of training the X-Men have clocked in the danger room, like the majority of main comic book characters Emma probably has training but h2h is beneath her.

Does Jean even have any h2h feats? Like I can't remember. At least Emma beat half a dozen Sinister men after her arm just got reattached, flipped Banshee, fended off some lizard creatures without powers and in diamond form managed to hold her own quite well against Storm, Wolverine, and Gambit when they turned into lizard creatures with powers before Spider-Man came in to help.

I just can't recall anything for Jean so I'll give Emma the nod for now.

She was slapped continuously by Wolverine in Uncanny X-Men 111 (I think it was) before going

I think this could go either way on some levels but I found Emma's performance in h2h to be a bit better than Jean's.

Jean has had training in h2h but is pretty average to slightly above average IMO. I recall her beating up Manta in h2h, punching out Jamil (little srreet thug kid), punching out Spiral in X-Factor, and doing a jump kick on of the magistrates during Extinction Agenda.

Emma has shown some moderate level of h2h competence when she took down Banshee, fought Sage and Bishop in XXM, and fought off the lizard Storm, Wolverine & Gambit. She has a nother hand full of brawler style fighting as well.
