Guardians of the Galaxy (movie) VS future X-Men DOFP

Just to remind everyone, The X-Men only have their future members, and they do not have either Magneto or Xavier.

Battle takes place in Knowhere.

• Round 1: Both teams have prep and realize they are about to face an enemy in a weeks time, however don't know the skills and weaknesses of either team.
• Round 2: Random Encounter
• Round 3: Guardians have a day prep and are fully aware of their oppositions capabilities, while X-Men are Unaware of the attack.
• Round 4: X-Men have a days Prep, however Guardians also have the aid of Yondu.

• Bonus Round: Who would win in a random encounter if the comic counterparts for each team were to face off.

In prep scenarios Both teams can either use either their Blackbird or the Milano.

Peter solos

Yondu solos everyone except for maybe Colossus. Colossus could be beaten by any other character though.

Do the x men have Storm and Wolverine. Most of the future x men are featless, except for getting killed

X-Men should all round by overwhelming except round 3 due to prep for GOG .

It's so weird to look at the Guardians, comic characters realized to near perfection on screen, and Fox's X-Men, who look nothing like they do in the comics.

ohhh so thats why he was whistling….oops I just thought he liked a wee sing song now and then….

I really thought more people would have an opinion on this battle. come on guys isn't their more of a argument for either team.

I'm pretty sure Magneto solos everybody but Groot by turning their weapons on themselves.

PS: I also want to say that future Magneto and future Wolverine's costumes look awesome; shame they didn't get more screen time.

@jedixman: But Magneto and Xavier are not part of this battle. how do you think it'll go without the two most unstoppable team members gone.

My bad. But I did notice that Quicksilver is here... who should probably solo everybody, again, except for Groot.

The likes of Iceman and Sunspot should be able to take care of Groot. Storm has the potential to be a threat, but could get KO'd by any of the team's weapons.

@jedixman: I knew Quicksilver would most likely solo everyone on the guardians team, that's why I made this battle with only the future members and minus the heavy hitters Magneto and Xavier. I'm sorry I know my post may not have been clear, but that was the only picture I could find of the whole team.

In the future, my advice is to put all of the rules in the thread first, and show the pictures last. Don't put crucial information after or between images, especially large images. They get distracting and it can be hard to sift through it all. The most important part of battles are the fine details.

Now you have my attention. This is indeed an interesting fight, and in round 4 Yondu is a serious threat; he has the potential to solo everyone but Wolverine.

The thing about the Guardians is that they are pretty one dimensional when it comes to fights. Gamora and Peter are basically just good and agile fighters, Drax is the tough guy, Rocket is a raccoon with a gun and the only one that could do something with prep and Groot is just another physical tough guy.

Blink and Iceman could keep most of them occupied while Bishop solos Rocket. Bishop can just absorb his gun blasts and just shoot Rocket back and eventually get a hit in. Kitty in the last round even with Yondu can just phase through the spear until she reaches him and puts him through the ground, literally. The X-men are too versatile here.

can absorb energy and use it against his enemies, so I think he wins

X men have the firepower, durability, numbers. They win

Rouns with prep guardians easily because of rocket. If they have hardron enforcer they can one shot x men. they will win every round if they have it. If this is standart gear X men easily. If yondu have acces to his ship then guardians.

Xmen win rounds 1 and 2 handily. Gotg can win round 3

Round 4 goes to xmen yondu is a threat but blink and kitty and colossus can take him out.

@nerdchore: x-men in each round. I think it could possibly go either way in round 3. Kind torn on the prep round.

that was most definitely a Yaka arrow...

yondou and the other people of his home (centaurians) can change the direction of these arrows with certain high pitched sounds (hence the whistling)

The gaurdians are lucky magneto isn't there because he would kill all of them
