Grundy curbstomp sometimes superman could not even beat him. And superman is out of things lead.

Once again The thing loses. I like tha character but people seem to think about him in a higher level than he actually is strenghtwise.

Which version of Grundy are you talking about ?

If this is Grundy when stupid and stronger, then I can see him easily winning as his strength can rival Supermans.

If this is the lastest version that appears far less durable and strong but quite smart, I can acctually see the Thing winning as that version of Grundy was beaten by the Red Tornado.

Grundy comes back as different character every time he dies so it as says depend on which version it is some would flick The Thing away others get one shotted

Not really spite as Creator pointed out Thing could beat weaker versions of Grundy.   Although the bump was pointless. "

Depending on the version, this could be spite one way or another. More powerful versions of Grundy have fought SuperMan. Other versions have been beaten into the dirt by BatMan.   
 
Very little, that I have seen, is there middle ground between stronger and weaker versions of Grundy, but based on the few that there are, Thing may win.
