@thitiki: Arkillo isn't really your typical Lantern. He likes to get down and dirty instead of actually using his ring. Groot is also quite powerful himself, from what I heard from tparks, a clone of Groot was able to handle Hulk and Groot tanked a blow from Thanos (although Thanos was slightly weakened )

I like Arkillo because his methods, He prefers to fight without his ring and get physical, but he will eventually use his ring.
Groot can take blows from someone like the hulk, but he is not at that level. The only reason groot can stand up to hulk level characters (at least momentarily) is strictly due to his physiology, he's basically a regenerating tree.
I picture the fight being pretty even until Arkillo utilizes his ring. Arkillo would put groot down with the yellow light, but I'm not sure if Arkillo would be able to keep him down. I don't know if Arkillo smart enough to figure out a way to stop groot from regenerating.
