Better aim for Hulk's face with that machine gun, unload ALL the rounds, and behead Hulk while he's "blinded", otherwise Grey Hulk/Fixit shoves that axe up Ares' arse! ;)
Ares is hardly a competent fighter even in his own right, and the gun won't be very effective against Grey Hulk. Not too mention, Ares has been disarmed before and I don't see why Grey can't do it here.

Ares has never been considered a, "top-notch fighter". At best, he's a mildly-skilled brawler with a temperamental disposition.
in the Marvel universe, just because a being is a god does not mean they can't be defeated by a human, mutant, or demons. Ares working as a Dark Avenger for $22/hr, taking orders from a human (Osborne), and getting his butt kicked by the X-men is just all sad.
That Axe was capable of cutting Sentry. Does Fixit have a healing factor on par with Green Hulk? Ares has a slight chance of winning because of the Axe and better H2H abilities.
