Really, matter transmutation powers are kind of the worst possible thing to use against Absorbing man, especially ones that you need to touch him to use.
Absorbing Man stomps with ease. Gargoyle's a glorified street level character now, and his stone touch is useless on the guy who casually absorbs molecular altering attacks from Odin.
Absorbing Man should win, but I don’t think it will be a stomp. The stone touch won’t incapacitate Creel due to his absorption powers, but Duval has good durability and striking feats as well. He’s one-shotted Vision and Ms. Marvel, drawn blood from Thor with a punch, tanked hits from Thing, and tanked an axe swing from Desak. Creel could probably replicate a lot of that and he’s got an advantage because Duval will just attempt to transmute him, so he wins.
@noobmaster2001: His stats grant him mid-tier power, but his stone transmutation gives him borderline high tier offensive output. He can basically one-shot someone as durable as Iron Man by just touching and knocking him over. It even still consistently works on Thor. Unless you have a healing factor like Hulk or resistance, it’s pretty OP.
@noone1996: Yeah I agree. I did a respect thread on him and based on his showings he seems around mid tier. He’s got good durability feats and decent striking as well. He’s not really someone who’s going to give Thor a hard time with that alone, but his stone touch makes up for it.
